007 First Light: How to Defeat Murto

During the first half of 007 First Light, you'll come face to face with Murto, one of the evil twins. You'll face off against him in a small warehouse of sorts, similar to how Abby and Ellie face off from The Last of Us Part 2.

Unfortunately, Murto is too powerful and can't be damaged by throwing punches, and since you don't have a weapon during the fight, you can't shoot him either.

Instead, you have to use the surrounding environment to deal damage to Murto. If you are having trouble, this guide has you covered, as it will explain how to defeat Murto in 007 First Light.

How to Beat Murto in 007 First Light

In order to defeat Murto in 007 First Light, you must use the surrounding environment to deal damage to him. There are three specific hazardous objects you must hack when Murto comes near them, with each object destroying a full bar of health.

Before we get into how to defeat Murto, there are important aspects of this boss fight that you need to know: First, you can't deal any damage to Murto with your fists. Second, Murto can kill you in two shots, so make sure to never leave yourself exposed outside of cover for a long time.

First off, you can deal damage to Murto right when the boss fight begins, but you'll have to be quick. At the start of the fight, Murto will move toward the center of the warehouse, crossing paths with the Floodlights. Right when Murto walks by the Floodlights, press the Blind hack option to destroy a chunk of his health bar.

Next, you want to deal damage to Murto by activating the ground Cargo Lifts when he walks across one. Activating this right when he walks over the Cargo Lift will electrocute him, destroying a full bar of health. Make sure to only activate the Cargo Lift from a safe distance, otherwise you run the risk of damaging yourself.

As you wait behind cover, Murto will naturally walk toward your location, usually resulting in him walking over the Cargo Lift. To speed up the process, however, you can use the Lure option by pressing up on your D-pad.

Keep in mind that even though the Cargo Lifts deal a significant amount of damage to Murto, he will also catch on very quickly. Unfortunately, after using the Cargo Lift against Murto one time, he will begin to shoot and destroy them whenever he gets close to one.

Since this is the case, we need to find another way to deal damage to Murto. At this point, if you followed the above two steps correctly, Murto should only have one health bar left.

To damage Murto and defeat him once and for all, you will want to use one of the hanging Chandeliers. The best way to do this is by luring Murto into a corner where a Chandelier is located, waiting for him to walk under it, and selecting the option to drop it.

After hitting Murto with three hazardous objects throughout the environment, Murto will go down and have trouble getting on his feet. Rush over to Murto to activate a cutscene, officially completing the boss fight.

After the cutscene, which shows Bond and Murto wrestling for their lives, Bond will officially end Murto by stabbing him with a nearby stake. With Murto out of the picture, you can now continue on with the main story in an attempt to find his twin.
