There aren't many puzzles in 007 First Light, so when you encounter one, it will definitely throw you off. A perfect example is when you are tasked with finding the code for a safe in Sir Nicholas' office in order to progress the main mission.
To figure out the safe code, players have to investigate various objects around the room. While investigating these objects and reading their short description, you will find that each description has a number included within it.

Tired of playing Gears of War? Here are some of the best alternatives.
If you are stuck and can't seem to figure out the correct order of numbers, this guide is for you. Here's how to find the safe code in Sir Nicholas' office in 007 First Light.
How to Find the Safe Code in Sir Nicholas' Office
The first step you must take toward figuring out the safe code in Sir Nicholas' office in 007 First Light is reading the note that Isola gave to you. If you don't remember, before James Bond enters the office alone, Isola handed you a note before leaving the scene with Greenway.
Isola's note actually contains a clue on how to figure out the safe code, so open up the journal menu and check it out. Isola's note states the following: Diploma, Painting, Game, Model.
These words hint at various objects scattered throughout Sir Nicholas' office. Your job is to investigate these objects and remember the numbers that appear in their descriptions, in the order that's shown in Iosal's notes.
For example, below you can find the following descriptions of the Diploma, Painting, Game, and Model.
- College Diploma: A framed Mathematics degree from King's College, London. Sir Nicholas graduated first in class — ahead of not one, but two Nobel Laureates.
- Basilisk Painting: The work itself appears to be generated by a Webb Industries AI. The title reads "Basillisk, rendition #4."
- Video Game: A copy of an early 90s adventure game, written and programmed by one Nicholas Webb. A dystopian neon-soaked sci-fi adventure titled "Hyperion 9."
- Scale Model: A scale model of Webb Industries' Hong Kong office entitled "Site III."
The numbers bolded above indicate the number that you should be taking a mental note of in order to open the safe in Sir Nicholas' office in 007 First Light.

The objects mentioned above are simple to find, but if you happen to be having issues, make sure to use Q sensors to highlight them within the room.
Sir Nicholas Safe Code Solution
Now that you have completed your investigation of the objects stated in Isola's note and taken note of the numbers mentioned in their descriptions, you can officially solve the safe code and open the safe in Sir Nicholas' office. The code for the safe is: 1493.
After opening the safe, Bond can grab the documents inside. These documents provide the command code that Isola and Greenway need to continue their mission, allowing you to progress the main story.
Make sure to prepare yourself for a stealth sequence immediately after closing the safe, as Damien and Sir Nicholas will enter the office to have a short conversation. Luckily, this part isn't too difficult, as all you really need to do is stay behind the desks to avoid being spotted. However, your objective is to stay close to Damien and Sir Nicholas so Greenway and Isola can record the conversation for evidence.
