The biggest map in Meccha Chameleon is the Hide-And-Seek Mansion. It offers a ton of hiding spots for those who go looking for them. Of course, this also makes it a bit difficult to choose a hiding spot.

Maybe you decide you want to paint yourself on the wall, or perhaps you want to check out the laundry room. No matter where you go in this mansion, there are many places to hide.

If you're looking for the best odds of fooling your friends, here are some hiding spots you should put at the top of your list.

10 Hide at the Spawn

On a Column

If you don't feel like running around the mansion, there is a quick and easy spot you can snag at the spawn. Immediately when you get into the level, climb one of the large columns in the main hall.

With how much there is going on in the Hide-and-Seek Mansion level, I've noticed that hunters don't tend to look at the posts, making it easy for you to go undetected.

The best post seems to be the large one next to the staircase in the corner, as this one has a convenient location where hunters will be busy looking at other items. While here, make sure you lay down flat so you don't stick out.

9 Behind the Luggage

Shadows

Next to the main hall, you will see a room with a globe in it. This small room has a couple of good hiding spots, but the best has to be behind the luggage.

There is a suitcase underneath the two stacked tables, and it is the perfect size that you can lay down and be completely hidden by it. Choose the pose where you lay down on your side, and tuck yourself behind the suitcase.

Once there, paint yourself the same color as the floor. This will help you blend in, and the shadows will make it so you can't be seen until someone gets very close to you.

8 The Laundry Room

On the Shelf

The laundry room of the mansion is chaotic and full of clutter, but that also means it has some great places to hide, as the hunter can get easily distracted. One of the best places here is a bit obvious, and it is on the shelf.

On the shelf of the laundry room, there is a bird statue that you can curl up next to. The curl up pose also lets you get partially behind the statue before being too obscured.

Once you get yourself tucked in here, paint yourself the same color as the wall. You don't need to go into detail, as the shadow of the shelf and the statue will help you blend in quite well.

7 Laundry Baskets

Tuck Yourself in

There are a few laundry baskets scattered about the mansion, with each of them being fairly obvious, and sitting in hallways and the bathroom. These are great to hide in, as they offer some good shadow and are easy to paint yourself into.

When you hop into one of these baskets, choose the pose that makes you lay on your side. Afterward, line yourself up against one of the walls of the basket and coat yourself blue.

This color will help you blend in perfectly, and the shadow will make it difficult for any hunter to see you. I have been able to hide here multiple times without ever being caught.

6 Under a Chair

In Storage

There are some side rooms in the Hide-and-Seek Mansion that offer a few good hiding spots, and one of the best in these small rooms is tucking yourself away under the chair. Specifically, you will want to go to the room with the serving cart.

In this room, there is a red chair on a raised floor. This chair offers a great deal of shade to hide in that will perfectly obscure your body. Tuck yourself in the back of the chair in the lying sideways position.

Once there, paint yourself the same color as the wall, and I promise you that no hunter will think to look there unless they've been fooled before.

5 Library Chair

So Unassuming

One of the first places that I hid in the Hide-and-Seek Mansion is in the library, but not amongst the bookshelves. Instead, I hid under the chair in the corner. It is out of the way, and oftentimes, the hunter takes a little while to reach the library.

There's a lot going on in the mansion, with balloons everywhere, randomly placed objects, and bright colors, the mundane items are easy to overlook. This is part of what makes the chair in the library so inviting.

If you lie underneath it, paint yourself the color of the floor, and just wait, odds are you won't even be spotted, as it will be far too easy to overlook you.

4 In the Corner

Out of Immediate Sight

It may seem obvious, but the upper corners of the mansion are a great place to hide. They make for simple hiding spots that are easy to overlook. I've seen multiple hunters simply ignore the corners or look for chameleons only to overlook them.

To hide in any of the corners, you simply need to paint yourself the same color as the walls, and climb up. Once you get there, you can choose to take different poses, but I prefer the side-lying pose.

When it comes to choosing a corner, I prefer the one where the draping fabric meets, as it gives you a little bit of cover to keep yourself more hidden.

3 Along the Brick Wall

In the Back of the Mansion

Far, far, in the back of the mansion is a storage room, where there are plenty of boxes, barrels, and pallets. I am not interested in any of that though, as the brick wall makes the perfect hiding spot.

Next to the entrance to this room are various concrete columns. You can find a hiding spot amongst this concrete, clinging yourself to the wall, and painting yourself in.

The brick is pretty easy to match. You just need to give yourself a base red color, and then just fill yourself in with a few lines. Along with this, the room is far off from the spawn point, giving you ample time to paint.

The horror can be fantastic, but the amount of time wasted wasn't.

2 Paint Yourself In

To One of the Paintings

Meccha Chameleon Mansion Hiding Spots Painting

One of the most obvious paintings is easily one of the best places to hide in the mansion. From the main hall, you can walk down the green hallway and spot a painting of a staircase.

This painting isn't very difficult to copy, with it mostly consisting of various wide lines of different colors. The trick is that you will need to be quick about painting yourself, since the painting is so close to the spawn point.

A nice benefit of this location is that it sits in a little alcove, making it difficult to spot from the sides. Being seen mostly from the front makes it easier for people to pass by you with you remaining undetected.

1 Hiding in With the Meats

Blend Right In

By far my favorite place to hide in the Hide-and-Seek Mansion is with the pile of meat at the entrance of the kitchen. There is a convenient blank spot in the back left corner where you can curl up.

The downside to this spot, like the painting, is that you need to be quick to blend into the environment since it is so close to the spawn. Luckily, it isn't very difficult.

Simply curl up, paint yourself a nice base red color, and then add a white edge with some lines. Being in the back corner also places you out of the immediate line of sight, so it will be easy to miss you.
