No matter what game you pick up, they all have one thing in common nowadays, and that is achievements. Every game has challenges for you to complete if you want to go the extra mile while playing it.
Like any other title, Pragmata has a long list of achievements for you to unlock. Of course, not all of these achievements are easy to obtain. You have some that you get for completing the story, but others require a bit of hard work and dedication.
Some of these achievements will require you to track down specific robots, while others will require you to track down multiple collectibles.
10 Mini-Hunter Supreme
Shoot the Mini Cabins
Every game has collectibles to find, and Pragmata is no different. The collectibles in this game come in the form of the robot that helps you in the Shelter: Cabin.
Mini Cabin figurines in Pragmata can be found scattered around the facility, with there being 15 in total. These robots are very well-hidden, with some of them taking a long time to locate.
What makes it a bit annoying is that you can find them by listening for Cabin's voice. Each figure makes noise, but they are so small that they can be very difficult to spot in the sometimes cluttered environment.
9 A Lunar Challenge
A Special Sector
Completing the story of Pragmata is difficult enough, but you don't have to stop there. After you complete the story, you get access to the Unknown Signal mode. In this mode, you will have various challenges to complete.
The challenges aren't easy, with most of them requiring a fair degree of skill to complete. Not only this, but you need to complete various challenges throughout the game to unlock the different challenge rooms in the Unknown Signal mode.
Reaching these challenge rooms is a lot, but completing them is even worse. This isn't the only achievement you get for completing them either. This is just the easier of the two.
8 Cleanup on Aisle Three
Cleanse Three Enemies at Once
Later in the game, Diana gets the ability to cleanse corrupted enemies. These enemies can easily be told apart because of the smoky effect on them and red nodes in their hacking matrix.
When you start facing enemies corrupted by the dead filament, you will need to cleanse them using Diana's abilities to make hacking them easier. The Cleanup on Aisle Three achievement requires you to cleanse three of these enemies at one time.
This is another achievement that is much easier said than done, as timing your cleansing attack amidst the chaos of combat can be difficult. It comes down to just grouping enemies together and trying to cleanse them together.
7 Round 'Em Up
Lim Recycler
As you progress through the game, you will come across machines called Lim Recyclers. These machines will shoot out lasers, destroying anything caught in them. This means that you can instantly destroy enemies using them.
The key to getting the Round 'Em Up achievement is to defeat three enemies at once using a Lim Recycler. This is yet another achievement that can be annoying to obtain because of the chaos of combat and unpredictability of enemies.
The easiest way to obtain this achievement is to make your way to the Mass Production Array and progress to the point where you see three enemies spawn near a Lim Recycler. Use the Decoy Generator to lure them all under the Lim Recycler and activate it.
6 It's Over 6,000!
Damage, That Is
A fair number of games have an achievement that requires you to deal a specific amount of damage to an enemy within a certain amount of time. For Pragmata, the It's Over 6,000 achievement requires you to deal over 6,000 damage in one second.
Specifically, this damage must be gun damage, so hacking doesn't count. Instead, you will need to upgrade your weapons to allow them to deal this much damage. On top of that, you will need to piece together hacking nodes to increase your damage further to achieve this large number.
The easiest way to obtain this get this achievement is by starting training simulation seven. You can then use the Charge Piercer to shoot multiple enemies with a single shot, dealing well over the damage required for the achievement. Just make sure to charge it up the whole way.
5 Can I Borrow That?
Steal a Shield
There is a type of enemy that uses shields to block your attacks. This same enemy launches shields at you as a means of attack. It can be quite annoying, but you can get the Can I Borrow That achievement by confusing this enemy.
The problem is, confusing this enemy takes a bit of work because you need to disable the shields to hack it. The best method of obtaining this achievement is to start by equipping the confuse hacking node at the shelter.
After that, go to a spot with a shield enemy. You can easily find them in the Lunum Mines. Once you find one, initiate a hack to find out which shield you need to destroy to reach the confuse hacking node. Destroy the shield blocking your path to the node, then proceed to hack the robot while going through the confuse hacking node.
This will allow you to take over the enemy's shield, making it fight for you, and getting you the achievement.
4 You're Not Getting Away That Easy
Defeat a Sweeper Bot
Some Soulslike games have enemies that appear briefly. If you don't kill them, they are gone for good, and you miss out on the reward. Pragmata has a similar enemy called a Sweeper Bot.
Sweeper Bots appear in random places throughout the game's levels. These small robots are typically hiding out near the ceiling, and when you spot them, they will run away.
Don't be fooled, they are quite fast, and can easily get away from you. This achievement requires you to destroy a Sweeper Bot, and the best way to do so is by using the Sticky Bombs, as this will shrink the hacking matrix, allowing you to hack the robot easily. Finding them, however, can take a while since they spawn randomly. Consistently reloading the Meteorology Sim Lab in the Terra Dome is helpful.
3 Courage in Desperation
Repel the LunaDigger
When you reach Sector 4: The Lunum Mines, you will have a run-in with a large robot called the LunaDigger. This enemy ends up being the boss of the sector, but that doesn't mean you can't deal damage to it beforehand, and that is what you need to do for the Courage in Desperation achievement.
This achievement requires you to repel the LunaDigger before fighting it as a boss, which is much easier said than done. To repel it, you have to aim for its weak spot, which is its mouth, and deal enough damage to it to make it leave you alone.
Of course, the mouth of the robot isn't the easiest target to hit, and the other robots in the area make fighting the LunaDigger quite difficult. Luckily, there are mines that you can use to help stun it.
2 Lunar Supremacy
Complete the Game on Lunatic
Many game developers want to see you suffer. By that I mean, they want you to beat their game on the hardest difficulty to unlock an achievement. This is typically hard mode, or in Capcom's case, nightmare or lunatic.
Completing the game on lunatic difficulty... putting it lightly; difficult. It wouldn't be so bad if you could start the new difficulty in new game plus, but you can't.
Instead, if you want to take on the challenge of completing the game on lunatic, you need to start completely over without any of the weapons you spent time upgrading. At least it is a good flex to say you've completed it.
1 The Right Man for the Job
Complete Unknown Signal
If you didn't know, there are two endings to Pragmata. There is the one you get for completing the game, and then there is the one you get for completing all the extra content. The Right Man for the Job achievement requires you to complete all the extra content.
Once you beat the game, you will unlock Unknown Signal. From there, you need to complete all the challenge rooms in the newly unlocked area. These challenge areas are fairly tough, as they require you to use all the knowledge and skills you have acquired throughout the game.
Once you have completed them all, you will get the achievement. As a bonus, you can complete the rest of the game to unlock the true ending.
