It's been almost a month since Pokémon Pokopia launched, and we're already seeing some out-of-this-world builds going viral, putting our simple, cozy habitats to shame.

While I'm partial to my starter hut, which's designed like a college boy's bedroom (i.e a mattress on the floor with a T.V and a single poster), sometimes, you get the calling that you deserve more than that in life.

If you're finding yourself in a creative rut and wanting to take your town to the next level, then look no further, because we've tracked down some of the most impressive viral builds Pokopia players have been sharing online.

5 Pokémon Pokopia Multiplayer Games to Play with Friends

These Pokopia multiplayer games are worth playing with friends once you're done cleaning up the region.

Here are 10 amazing Pokopia builds that'll have you wanting to transform your entire island ASAP.

10 Underwater Bridge

A Feat of Pokopia Engineering

Pokemon Pokopia Underwater Tunnel

If you want to flex on your friends and show off a build that has rarely been done yet, you have to check out DereKoopa's underwater bridge.

The Reddit user's post would go viral last week, as several Pokopia players would have their minds blown at the idea of building underwater structures. Some users would go the extra length to verify how this could be done, before DereKoopa themselves would explain their elaborate process.

You see, what makes building underwater such a challenge is that you'll end up drowning yourself over and over again before you're able see any significant progress. For this reason alone, many users are discouraged from even attempting such a build. But looking at the end result, it's hard to argue that it wasn't worth it.

9 Mr. Mime Prison

Right Where He Belongs

Pokemon Pokopia Mr Mime Prison

If there's one thing in Pokopia we can all agree on, it's that Mr. Mime is a sick freak. Thankfully, several players are coming up with elaborate prisons to ensure he can't haunt you any longer.

Reddit user No_Challenge_ 2058 took it to the next step, designing an elaborate maximum security prison to keep the psychic Pokémon contained and out of sight for good. After opening a hatch and dropping deep below, you'll be met with a long, lava-filled corridor with several security doors at the end. Once passing through, you'll see Mr. Mime locked behind iron gates like Hannibal Lector, with only trashbags, a security camera and two spotlights to keep him company.

Is this cruel? Maybe. But honestly, I don't feel comfortable with Mr. Mime on my island at all, so this build is pretty enticing.

8 A Giant Calculator

Minecraft Redstone Walked So This Could Run

Pokemon Pokopia Calculator Design

This is less of an aesthetic creation and more just a sheer marvel of engineering.

Taking to Twitter / X, user Tarnow0530 showcased that they had built a working calculator within the game. In their video, they would take the form of a Magnemite, pressing various pressure plates to trigger a large calculator-like structure. Now, the calculator is fairly limited, only going up to two-digit numbers, but it's an impressive blueprint for where future builds could go in Pokopia.

Who knows, it could only be a matter of time until users figure out how to get Doom running in the game.

Build Your Pokémon a Lovely Spot for Gathering

Pokopia Community Centre LuckySevenPlays

If you're looking for a nice and easy-to-build structure to become a centerpiece in your town, you can't go wrong with this stunning community center.

Instagram user luckysevenplays would share their design, showing that by placing the right decorations around town, you can build a gorgeous community hub for your fellow Pokémon to flourish in.

Pokemon Pokopia IKEA Crossover

Pokémon Pokopia will host an IKEA crossover, where players will get to visit a special island and copy all of the designs created by the IKEA folk.

This build also goes to show how simple it can be to build pleasant architecture within Pokopia without spending hours farming for resources and assembling oversized structures. Sometimes, going simple can be just as impressive as a large-scale project.

6 Pokopia Waffle House

"We're in the Pokémon Business"

Pokopia Waffle House Pudge

Humans may be missing in Pokopia, but that doesn't mean one of our finest institutions has to be.

While some Pokopia players are rejecting modernity and embracing tradition, building lavish treehouses and natural habitats for their Pokémon, Twitter / X user podgekinn has chosen instead to recreate their local Waffle House in the game.

Taking advantage of the electricity and the restaurant district in Bleak Beach, this Pokopia player has sought to bring a humble diner experience for their inhabitants.

If you're looking to add a modern touch to your Pokopia village, you might find some surprising inspiration here.

5 Transforming Rocky Roads into a Massive Hot Springs Town

An Onsen Resort to Lose Yourself In

Pokopia Hot Springs design

If there's one thing Pokopia players love, it's building aesthetic spas for their favorite Pokémon.

This build by TikTok user Pokobuilds has transformed the lava-filled town of Rocky Ridges, and turned it into a massive hot spring hub. Honestly, the most impressive part about this build is how much patience they must have had to clear out all that volcanic ash, but there's some inspired design ideas here as well. For example, I'm obsessed with the golden Magikarp statues at the entrance and the elaborate shower layout.

4 Treehouse Village

Return to Mankey

Pookopia Treehouse Design Zoibean

While living in your base starter hut containing only a straw bed and a Ditto flag is nice, at some point in the game, you're gonna want to upgrade. And what better house could you upgrade into besides your very own treehouse?

This build idea comes from TikTok user thezoibean, who demonstrates how to build an entire Pokémon village within a tree-like structure, using mostly early-game items. This build can fit up to five houses as well as a hidden shop, because what's a village without the flow of commerce?

If you're looking to build yourself a habitat you'd feel proud to live in early on, I think this design is a great place to help you get comfortable with building your own structures in the game.

3 Water Type Pokémon Village

A Gym Leader's Dream Come True

Pokopia Water Sanctuary Zoibean

Continuing with this water theme in designs, if you're a fan of water-type gyms, you have to see this inspired Pokémon village.

This is another build by TikTok user thezoibean, whose inspired beach-town design features up to five houses, a shop, several waterfalls, and a central pool.

Starting on the Bleak Beach map, you'll want to find yourself over 1000 sand blocks to help get your structure going. Thankfully, this is the only hard part about building this village, as the rest will all fall into place right after. Afterwards, you'll be able to start building your houses and assembling your waterfalls to help everything come together.

But honestly, the hard work will pay off as you see all your favorite water Pokémon enjoy doggy-paddling in the water sanctuary of their dreams.

2 The Rick Astley Railway

Something Your Friends Will Beg You to Give Up

Pokopia Rick Astley

Let's be honest with ourselves, the moment Pokopia introduced music boxes, we already knew someone was going to build a Rick Roll in the game. And unfortunately for us, Reddit user Luneli has been the first to create such a cursed build.

Say you want to invite your friends to explore your island though, and you want to be a little mischievous? Well, perhaps the Rick Roll Railway is an aspirational build, one which calls to you like a Green Goblin mask.

Once stepping onto the rail, players will find themselves stuck in a seemingly endless tunnel, only to get hit with a classic that is sure to inflict some psychic damage to them.

This build is aspirational to players disinterested in building cozy marvels of architecture, who'd rather be the closest thing to Saw's Jigsaw in Pokopia.

1 A Lava Spewing Charizard Monument

Charizard After Trying Hot Ones 'Da Bomb' Hot Sauce

Pokopia Charizard Design

Occasionally, you see a build in Pokopia that completely humbles you. But this build makes you want to give up on attempting any large-scale projects ever again, because you're never going to top this.

Reddit user Acceptable-Station58 put all of us to shame with his colossal Charizard monument, which spans several hundred blocks into the air and encompasses an entire mountainside. To add to the impeccable design, this Pokopia player took the next step by having it breathe lava,

If you're looking to lean into Rocky Ridge's oppressive design, then this build might just be for you.

For those of us who remember Pokémon Mystery Dungeon, this build reminds me of Sharpedo Bluff, which was a cliffside shaped into the shape of the shark-like Pokémon. While I can't recommend anyone attempt to emulate this build on their own, if you are a player wanting to transform Rocky Ridge into your personal villain's lair, then this will be a killer landmark to add.
