2025 GOTY Contender Hades 2 Tops A Loaded Month For Game Pass

Six months after being a Switch console exclusive, Hades 2 is finally making the jump to PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S, where it’s one of this month’s day-and-date Game Pass launches. The “just one more run” arcade roguelite arrives alongside Call of Duty: Modern Warfare (2019) and some less well-known indie games worth checking out.

Here’s the full list of 17 games joining the various tiers of Game Pass in the first half of April 2026:

That’s a lot! Let’s break down a few of them. Tiny Bookshop is a delightful cozy management sim about running a bookstore that’s making the leap to Xbox after first arriving on PC and Switch last August. Replaced is a long-awaited HD-2D pixel art retro futurist action game that swerves between cinematic adventure and rhythm-based brawler.

There’s also Vampire Crawlers, the card-based dungeon-crawler spin on Vampire Survivors that, if the demo is any indication, is so tough to put down it should be illegal, and of course Kiln is Double Fine’s highly original pottery party game about carrying water and breaking stuff.

A couple of other things worth noting for Game Pass this month. Grand Theft Auto 5 and the top-tier 4X sci-fi strategy game Terra Invicta both leave the subscription service this month. The excellent tower-defense roguelike Dome Keeper, meanwhile, gets its four-player co-op update which is the thing I’m personally most excited to check out this month.
