There are plenty of weapons to find in Assassin's Creed Black Resynced. Players can carry two weapons at a time, dual-swords and a pistol, making Edward a challenging pirate to defeat.

The pistol is arguably the player's strongest asset during combat encounters, as it can be used to deal high damage and dispose of enemies from afar. However, not all pistols are created equal and there are some that far outshine the others.

6 Captain Drake's Flintlocks

Instant Kill Captains

Out of all the Legendary Pistols in Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced, Captain Drake's Flintlocks are arguably the worst. However, they are still considered better than all Rare and Common pistols in the game. The Captain Drake's Flintlocks come with a range of 24, which is on the higher end, and an admirable draw speed of 1.20.

Its perk sounds good on paper, where it kills Captains instantly (except bosses), but that's actually not that great when you think about it. Captains are not very difficult to begin with, but being able to kill them quickly does make it easier to clear out ships faster when boarding.

Players can purchase the Captain Drake's Flintlocks pistols from a secret General Store on an unmarked island. The coordinates for this island are 550,638.

5 Darkworker's Pistols

Stealth Equals No Ammo Consumption

Darkworker's Pistols is a stealth player's dream as it can help them defeat multiple enemies while anonymous. These Legendary Pistols make it so you don't waste any ammo when shooting enemies from the shadows, such as hidden in a bush, from a rooftop, etc.

Additionally, the Darkworker's Pistols come with a decent range of 22 and a very high draw speed of 1.50. In other words, players who use this pistol can expect to get their shots off quickly since it has one of the highest draw speed stats in the entire game.

Luckily, the Darkworker's Pistols is included in the deluxe edition of the game as part of the Master Assassin pack.

4 Peaceful Means

Silent the Gunfire

While the Peaceful Means Legendary Pistol doesn't have the greatest stats, only having 20 range and 1.00 draw speed, its unique perk makes up for that. Instead of making a loud noise, alerting all nearby enemies of your location, each shot of these pistols is significantly quieter.

Since you won't be making as much noise when firing the Peaceful Means pistol, you can become the ultimate assassin from stealth mode. When I used this pistol, I was able to eliminate a handful of enemies from a bush before they even had an idea of where I was located. In other words, it makes stealth much easier.

If you are looking to acquire the Peaceful Means pistol, you can purchase it from the Treasure Dealer in Great Inagua for 5,000 Reales, 3x Capuchin Monkey Pelt, 4x Iguana Leather, and 20x Rum Barrels.

3 Rustic Flintlocks

Perfect Dodge to Prevent Ammo Consumption

The Rustic Flintlocks Legendary Pistol is probably my favorite in Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced. It comes equipped with a solid range of 22, a good draw speed of 1.20, and a perk that is incredibly fun to use if you're a fan of dodging. After executing a Perfect Dodge, quick shooting immediately does not consume ammunition.

Simply put, if you master the Perfect Dodge during combat encounters, you won't ever have to use any of your ammunition. Bouncing between a Perfect Dodge and a Quick Shot over and over again without losing ammo will make groups of enemies much easier to kill and have you defeating them much quicker.

The good news is that players can acquire the Rustic Flintlocks instantly. Just head to the store tab in the in-game map and claim it for free.

• Perk: After a Perfect Dodge, quick shooting immediately does not consume ammunition.

2 Dark Animus Corsair Flintlocks

Deal Damage to Multiple Enemies

The Dark Animus Corsair Flintlocks is a Legendary Pistol that offers a way to deal damage to multiple targets at once, almost like a shotgun. Each time you land a shot on an enemy, that bullet will ricochet to a second target, dealing damage to them as well. This makes the secondary targets easier to defeat once you turn your full attention to them.

Besides its very useful perk, the Dark Animus Corsair Flintlocks also have a good range of 22, allowing you to shoot multiple enemies from afar. While it's draw speed isn't the greatest, its perk and range make up for it.

The Dark Animus Corsair Flintlocks can be acquired from the Eye in the Dark Project from the Animus screen. You will need to complete Anomalies to earn enough Data Fragments to unlock it.

1 Golden Flintlock Pistols

Slow Down Time

The best pistols in Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced are the Golden Flintlock Pistols. These Legendary Pistols come equipped with a range stat of 28, which is the highest in the game, and a solid draw speed of 1.20. However, what makes these stand out so much, is its perk that slows down time.

Every time you kill an enemy with these pistols, time will slow down. The reason this is so useful is because it makes it easier to land headshots on surrounding enemies, slowing down time for even longer. In simpler words, you can string a series of kills with these pistols, as long as you continue to land headshots.

Players can obtain the Golden Flintlock Pistols from the General Store in Great Inagua. It costs a whopping 18,000 Reales, so I would recommend you start saving up if you don't have enough.
