Episode 5 ("Team Building") is the fifth chapter of Dispatch. In this episode, Robert advances his relationship with his colleagues, both romantically and platonically, as the Z-Team has a little get-together at The Sardine. However, trouble ensues as The Sardine is a bar made for villains.

There are a few major choices in this episode as you'll be able to secure Blonde Blazer as your love interest or fully remove her as a candidate. Additionally, you can reveal to your team who you really are.

Below, we explain all of the choices that actually matter in Dispatch Episode 5, and what outcomes you’ll get from making each one. And if you’re looking for how these choices play out in the long-term, check out our comprehensive guide to all major choices in Dispatch.

For those who chose to have dinner with Blonde Blazer at the end of Episode 4, your first important choice in Episode 5 will occur in the locker room. She will ask you if you're down for a second date, but who you prefer to go on a date with:

  • "Blonde Blazer.": +1 Hero Counter
  • "Either works." (if you kissed her in Episode 4): +1 Hero Counter
  • "Let's pump the brakes." (if you didn't kiss her in Episode 4): +1 Antihero Counter and removes Blonde Blazer as a love interest
  • "Mandy.": +1 Hero Counter

If you didn't kiss Blonde Blazer at the end of Episode 4 and finally decide that you'd rather date Invisigal, make sure to choose "Let's pump the brakes." If you do want Blonde Blazer as your love interest, choose literally any other option, and you'll be in a relationship with Mandy for the rest of the game (barring a decision that comes in Episode 7).

Your next important decision will come after your workday as a dispatcher, but don't forget to send Invisigal out on successful missions if you chose to get dinner with Blonde Blazer to make up for the lost mentor points. After work, Chase asks you whether you would kill Shroud:

  • "Yes.": +1 Antihero Counter
  • "I'm not sure…": No change
  • "Heroes don't kill people.": +1 Hero Counter

Afterward, you'll have your second work shift, which will include three hacking minigames. Remember, if you want to receive Robert Mentor points, do your best to succeed or turn on unlimited hacking attempts. Otherwise, feel free to fail!

To relax after work, you'll hang out with the Z-Team at The Sardine. If you chose to go to the movies with Invisigal in Episode 4, you'll meet her at the bar and chat about your date:

  • "I had a good time.": +2 Sweet Exit Counter
  • "We can be just friends.": -3 Sweet Exit Counter
  • "That wasn't a date.": No change

Then, you'll talk with each of your Z-Team members before meeting up with Invisigal in a booth. During your conversation, you'll have a flashback of when Mecha Man encountered Flambae when he was a villain. During the fight, you'll say:

  • "Is that all you got?": +1 Antihero Counter
  • "Stand down, immediately.": +1 Hero Counter
  • "I'm not done with you yet.": +1 Antihero Counter

After your chat, a bar brawl breaks out. During the fight, there will be four QTEs, so pay close attention to your screen and complete each one to improve your Robert Mentor Score (or fail to lower it). If you're worried about missing any, don't forget to switch your quick-time events setting to "Cinematic."

Once the entire fight is over, Robert will miss throwing his trash into the garbage and Punch Up will ask him who he really is:

  • "I'm Robert.": -5 Robert Mentor Counter
  • "I'm Mecha Man.": +5 Robert Mentor Counter

It's important to note that if you choose "I'm Mecha Man," Flambae will get very angry with you and attempt to attack you. However, Golem will block it and then Malevola or Waterboy (if you chose to add him to the Z-Team) will douse his flames. Additionally, Flambae will skip the first dispatch shift in Episode 6. It's not impossible to complete every mission without him, but if you're worried, you can always select the other option and focus on earning more Robert Mentor points by sending Invisigal out on successful missions.
