A new trailer for Sekiro: No Defeat has been released, not only showing more footage but also confirming that the anime series is coming soon and that it's going to adapt a fair chunk of the game.
Sekiro: No Defeat is an upcoming anime adaptation of Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice, one of FromSoftware's best action RPGs. It makes sense that Sekiro would be chosen for the first major FromSoftware adaptation, as it has a far more direct story than the likes of Elden Ring or Dark Souls, aided by a set protagonist with actual dialogue and character.

Sekiro: No Defeat Is Coming Soon
Image Via CrunchyrollWhile the Sekiro: No Defeat trailer lacks a solid release date, it does confirm that it's "coming soon" and will be exclusive to Crunchyroll. It's currently unknown how many episodes Sekiro: No Defeat has, whether it's just a single season of a much larger adaptation, or if it covers the entire game.
The new trailer does confirm some things: the protagonist is shown facing Gyoubu, aka the boss who rides a horse. More importantly, the boss fight with Genichiro atop Ashina Castle is shown, confirming that a good chunk of the story will be covered in the show.

FromSoftware has confirmed that an Elden Ring movie is on the way and will likely be a huge deal if it ever enters production. Sekiro: No Defeat is arguably more important, as it will prove that a FromSoftware epic can be adapted to the small or big screen. Hopefully, Studio Qzil.la has what it takes to bring Wolf's story to life and do it justice.
