Amazon has released its first look at the new Lara Croft in the upcoming Tomb Raider TV show, who is being portrayed by Sophie Turner of Game of Thrones fame.

Amazon has slowly been revealing new information about its Tomb Raider show, which recently finished casting. The Tomb Raider show will feature the likes of Sigourney Weaver, Jason Isaacs, and Bill Paterson in currently undisclosed roles.

Fans have been most excited to see Sophie Turner in the Lara Croft role, as she was the first cast member revealed. The official Amazon Prime Video Instagram account has offered the world its first glimpse of Turner in the Lara Croft outfit.

Turner looks amazing as Lara Croft, even if it's slightly surreal not seeing her with red hair, considering her most prominent roles (Sansa Stark, Jean Grey) were ginger.

Amazon has had tremendous success with its video game adaptations, with Fallout becoming a huge hit, meaning the company is going all-in on more shows. There's also a God of War show on the way, with Ryan Hurst recently revealed as Kratos.

The official Amazon Prime Video Instagram account has offered the world its first glimpse of Turner in the Lara Croft outfit.

There's currently no word on when the Tomb Raider show will debut, but it's likely not until 2027 at the earliest. In the meantime, fans will have to make do with the single image of Turner's Lara Croft, until a trailer is released into the wild, or enjoy the two upcoming Tomb Raider titles, which may beat it to the small screen.
