Get yourself down to Bird City

Since launch, the most common complaint from Arc Raiders players is that the events and map conditions are on a 24-hour schedule. It means those who can only play at the same time every day are likely to miss some of the game's content, including taking on the Queen and Matriarch, the two endgame bosses that reward some of the best weapons and items.
There's good news: Developer Embark Studios has acknowledged the complaints, and one small step has been made to alleviate them. Bird City, the latest map condition added, is exclusive to the Buried City map and has rare rubber ducks to find, alongside an increased amount of trinkets.
Today's hotfix, first announced by Embark on Discord, increases the frequency of Bird City. There's no update required for this, as long as you restart your client if you're in-game. This is a strong first step as it shows the schedule for events can be altered, and Embark clarified that "we will keep revising and try to find a schedule for all conditions so that all time zones get a chance to play."
The responses to the announcement are predictable, as this issue has been ongoing for some time. "I just don't get why they can't make the rotation 25 hours long," reads one comment. "It would make it naturally shift event start times over time." "All the players hoping this was Embark fixing or implementing a new way for events to show up and not on a fixed schedule. RIP," reads another.
Last week's update added a bunch of new quests to the game alongside Bird City, including "On The Map," which sends you on a tour of Spaceport, not to mention the Trophy Display project. This month, the roadmap shows we're due to get another new map condition, a new Arc threat, a player project, raider deck, map update, and more.
