Ah, Stella Montis, here we go again! Arc Raiders is well known for pretty large maps, having you sprint from building to building under the watchful metal eyes of ARC. Whether it’s towering dams or desolate outposts, you don’t want to be caught sorting out your inventory in the middle of nowhere.
Stella Montis, however, flips this on its head. This map is tiny, full of tight twisting corridors and very little open space. While ARC may not be as active here, you can be sure that players are even more so. And you know that wherever you go, those fingers are going to be holding onto triggers, looking for the tiniest reason to let loose.

ARC Raiders: Where To Use The Stella Montis Archives Key
There's a locked room in the cultural archives of Stella Montis. Here's how to find it.
That’s why quests such as On Deaf Ears can be very painful and rather dangerous to complete. Let’s take a look at this quest and how to get through it without dying to your fellow raiders.
Quest Prerequisites
Before you can attempt On Deaf Ears, you first need to complete the “Groundbreaking” quest given to you by Apollo on Blue Gate.
While it seems as though this is the only requirement, sometimes the quest won’t show up right away. I had to log out of ARC Raiders and log back in for the quest to appear.
This entire quest takes place on Stella Montis and forces you to visit basically every section, meaning you’re going to run into other Raiders without a doubt. If you’re a PvE player, make good use of that Emote Wheel or your Comms for a smooth experience.
However, if you enjoy a good bit of PvP, make sure you bring a good shield, as well as a reliable weapon like a Sticher, Il Toro, or even a Tempest if you need some protection. People will shoot to kill even in the first minutes on a Map like Stella, so watch your back when you're performing quest actions.
Luckily, this quest doesn’t need to be done in one trip like many of the other quests. If you want to take it slow and easy, simply grab a free loadout and focus on completing one objective at a time.
Walkthrough
First, head to the central Lobby area and go down to the ground floor (First Floor). In the northeast, just to the right of the security checkpoint, there’s a little kiosk area that you can go inside. Here, there is a computer on the desk where you can transmit data to Lance.
Just be careful, as this area is usually swarming with ground ARC units and Wasps, so clear them out before you head through.
Next up, you’ll need to head up and southeast to the Business Centre area. In this educational facility, there’s a rather large auditorium. Head down to the desk at the front, and there’s another computer you can use to send data.
ARC Shredders are a pretty common occurrence here, and you’ll find it difficult to focus on your objective with one of those hovering about. Getting caught in the charged shrapnel blast does a heavy amount of damage. In addition, you’ll find a lot of Fireball enemies here, so you should clear the area before attempting this objective.
A weapons cache can spawn here on occasion, so it might be worthwhile to leave this quest until a little bit later, when the fighting for initial spawns isn’t so common.
Once you’ve submitted the data, it’s time to do some running. The next objective will be on the complete opposite side of the map, in the Medical Research Wing. The easiest way to get there is to go through the main lobby and then the Central Corridor, which leads to the Assembly section and the Medical Wing.

I found the computer almost immediately in the first room I entered, which makes me think this quest objective can be completed on pretty much any computer in the individual rooms. However, if you’re struggling to find one, head to the place I circled on the map to submit your next batch of data.
The medical bay is a high loot value area. Many of the quests require items found in Stella Montis, like the Flow Controller and Ion Sputter. This area is a fantastic spot for salvaging and will net you a tidy profit.
Finally, you’ll need to get your hands on some physical reports. No more sending data! From the Medical Research Area, head directly north to the Assembly, and then up again to the Assembly Workshops.
To find the papers, you’ll have to search in one of the upstairs rooms in the Workshop area. Specifically, the 2nd one found in the east. Head up the metal stairway and into the little office room. In the southeast of this room, there will be a stack of reports on the desk. Interact with these, and the quest will be considered complete.
You can either head back to the Lobby and take the metro back to Speranza, or, if you have a Hatch Key and a bunch of loot, there is an exit directly to your east, down the stairs.
Quest Rewards
Once you’ve completed this quest, you will unlock the next task in the quest chain. “On the Map” is another quest by Lance set on Spaceport, revolving around the Hearing Aids.
In addition, you will be granted the following rewards for your efforts:
- 1× Navy Blue (Warden Outfit)
- 3× Lure Grenade
- 5× Noisemaker
- 1× Shaker
To access your new skin colour, head to the Raider tab and go to the Customisation section, where you’ll find all of your outfits and the new colour.
The other rewards are great for making a massive amount of noise to distract ARC units. However, if you’re more of a run-and-gun, blow ‘em up sort of player, feel free to sell these for a nice bit of extra cash.
Congratulations on making it across Stella Montis and surviving with your sanity intact. Until the next quest, Raider!
