Over 12 million copies of ARC Raiders have been sold, and Embark Studios is celebrating this impressive milestone with gifts, new cosmetics, and highly requested balancing changes.
Update 1.11.0 is now live, bringing changes to the kettle assault rifle, and the remote-detonated explosive, the trigger 'nade, which Embark stated, "currently dominates PVP encounters, and players favour picking it over all our other grenades."
Embark Solves Kettle Macro Problem And Nerfs Trigger 'Nades
The semi-automatic assault rifle, the Kettle, became a problem when players began reporting seeing the weapon being fired at an impossibly fast rate. This was due to the fact that some raiders were abusing macros, which turn one click of a button into multiple, allowing the Kettle's fire rate to be exploited.

ARC Raiders' Most Popular Explosive Is Getting Nerfed
Embark continues to balance PvP combat in ARC Raiders, confirming multiple nerfs are on the way.
To fix this, Embark has rolled out an easy fix by reducing the kettle's fire rate from 600 to 450. "The previous fire rate was only realistically reachable by players using macros, which creates an unfair dynamic that favours using 3rd party software."
Players began reporting seeing the weapon being fired at an impossibly fast rate
In addition to the kettle nerf, the trigger 'nade has received a thorough rework thanks to the persistence of the raider community. The trigger 'nade has been one of the most requested changes, as the delay before detonation was previously only 0.7s, which allowed players to detonate it midair.
The detonation time has been increased from 0.7s to 1.5s, and Embark says this was done to give raiders more time to react. "This nerf aims to make it less usable as a “trigger-in-air” grenade, whilst keeping its usefulness as a sticky bomb."
Damage falloff for the trigger 'nade has also changed in an important way, as raiders will now take less damage the further away they are from the center of the explosion.
