Whether it's trudging through the world of Elden Ring, or grinding out raids in Old School Runescape, Laurence is always up for a challenge. However, in real life, his current challenge is learning how to speak Spanish and cooking authentic Mexican cuisine.
The Shrouded Sky update in ARC Raiders brought with it several new enemies, a new exciting map condition, and, of course, my favourite, some new quests to complete!
Worth Your Salt, however, has garnered a somewhat poor reputation upon launch due to the buggy nature of its final step. Was this truly a bug, or just some shoddy oversight from Embark? Either way, players were quick to throw down their batteries in frustration, realising that they couldn’t progress, and having wasted time doing a quest that couldn’t be completed.

However, that doesn’t mean no one could complete it. Let’s take a look at Worth Your Salt and just how to get it done, despite the bugs!
Prerequisites
This quest is unlocked as soon as you update your game to the new Shrouded Sky patch. You will be given the mission by Celeste, asking you to procure a new salt battery from the Spaceport map.
Due to the nature of this quest, you’re probably going to be in a rush when you first spawn onto the map. Because of this, it’s crucial that you bring Adrenaline Shots with you so you can run for as long as possible.
In addition, because of the ARC that surrounds the Rocket Assembly and those that can actually come inside, it’s worth bringing at least 1 powerful weapon like an Anvil.
Quest Walkthrough
Completion Steps
Firstly, pick Spaceport and start to head towards the Rocket Assembly area in the northeast of the map. The whole quest takes place in the northwestern room of the Rocket Assembly, away from the main Thrusters.
Once you get to the northwestern room, you’ll want to head up to the metal walkway, where there are a few red lockers. Just to the left of the lockers, there’s a small container on the ground where you can find an uncharged battery.
Carry the battery and then head to where the walkway collapses, just past the lockers. Jump down, and in the center of the room, you will see a machine with a blue-glowing slot where you can insert the battery.
Plug it in, and then interact with the side of the machine to charge the battery. Once charged, you can take it out and head to the far north corner of the room, where there is a small delivery box to place the battery. Once you’re done with that, the quest is complete! Sounds easy, right? But this last step is where the quest falls apart a bit.

Quest Issues
The problem is that only the first person to place the battery in the box can complete this quest. As soon as that delivery box is full, it locks anyone else on the map from completing it. This is especially annoying when there are often over 20 people on the same map at the same time.
You simply have to hope that you spawn close to the Rocket Assembly, or simply wait until the quest is patched, or enough people have completed it that there’s not a lot of competition. Chances are, if you pick Spaceport with a competitive map condition like the new Hurricane, fewer people will be completing quests due to the abundance of high-tier loot.
Unfortunately, at this point, there’s not a lot you can do but pray and cross your fingers.
Quest Rewards
This is a standalone quest with no prequels or sequels.
After completing this, you’ll gain the Blueprint for Vita Spray, a powerful healing item that requires the following materials to create:
- 3x Antiseptic
- 1x Canister
- 1x Tick Pod
To craft this, you’ll need the final level of the Medical Lab in your Workshop.
