Covering the video games industry since 2017, with experience in news, articles, lists, and reviews (and I blame The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask for that).
If you are a fan of RPGs and want a third-person version: Tayná Garcia is a Brazilian journalist (but you can call her Tay) who ended up working with video games after finishing Zelda: Majora's Mask when she was a kid. With more than eight years of experience in the segment, she has been an assistant editor at Jovem Nerd in the past and is currently a contributor at DualShockers and a writer for gaming magazines for Editora Europa. Oh, and she may like Hideo Kojima a bit too much.
Grab your ramen and sharpen your hidden blades, because Ubisoft is wasting no time and has just deployed a new update for Assassin’s Creed Shadows.
While it might seem simple on the surface, the Update 1.1.10 is now live and brings several crucial improvements and new features, particularly for those playing on the Nintendo Switch 2 and PlayStation 5 Pro.
Bringing Mouse, Keyboard, and Bug Corrections to Japan
According to the patch notes from Ubisoft, the standout feature of this update is the addition of mouse and keyboard support for the Nintendo Switch 2. This offers a brand-new way to explore Feudal Japan with the kind of precision usually reserved for PC players, making both stealth and combat feel more responsive.
Basically, the goal is to give players total freedom to adapt their playstyle between Naoe and Yasuke. As the developer patch notes put it: “Your fight. Your style. Your way.”

Similarly, PlayStation 5 Pro owners are also getting a significant boost, since the update finally incorporates PSSR 2 technology, allowing for much higher visual clarity and improved performance levels right from day one.
Update 1.1.10 is now live and brings several crucial improvements and new features, particularly for those playing on the Nintendo Switch 2 and PlayStation 5 Pro.
In terms of content, the non-legendary Bo weapon, which was previously locked behind the “Claws of Awaji” expansion, is now available to everyone! This means that, once you obtain at least one Unique Bo, the weapon type will start appearing normally via enemies, chests, and traders across Japan.
The patch also squashes a long list of bugs, from minor to big ones. Some highlights include fixes for sudden crashes, unavailable fast travel points, and a frustrating issue where total progression remained stuck at 97.89% even after completing everything (as a completionist, I have to say that the last one is a massive relief!).
Interestingly, Ubisoft snuck some combat tweaks into the fixes section: enemies can now suffer up to five afflictions simultaneously, and the “Oni's Rage” Kanabo perk now specifies a 25% bleed buildup spread on kill. It is curious that these were hidden among standard bug fixes, but they certainly spice up the combat.
Finally, critical quest bugs have been resolved, and players can now properly finish "The Winter Raiders" and "Brothers In Arms" without progression-blocking glitches. You can read the full patch notes at this link. But grab a cup of coffee first, since it is quite a long list.
