Part of Windrose is making sure that your character has strong gear to keep them alive. A large part of this is finding the best weapons and armor in the game to keep you alive.
There's more than weapons and armor in Windrose. On top of this, you can find various jewelry sprinkled around the islands, allowing you to enhance your character even more.
Of course, you might be wondering what jewelry offers the best bonuses for your character. After all, you can only have one ring and one necklace equipped at a time. Here are the best pieces of jewelry in Windrose that you should be on the lookout for.
How to Find and Craft Jewelry
Similar to the game's weapons and armor, you aren't able to craft jewelery right away. You also can't purchase plans for jewelry from any of the faction leaders.
Instead, you will need to find the pieces of jewelry in chests sprinkled around the game's many islands. These pieces of jewelry are typically found in pirate camps, Blackbeard chests, and other points of interest.
Once you find a piece of jewelry, you will be able to craft said item at a jeweler's bench at a camp. Since you only need to have held the item, you can also drop items for friends, allowing them to learn the crafting recipes.
The jeweler's bench is unlocked after you have completed the coastal biome, defeated Thomas Richards, and collected iron ingot from the foothills biome. This bench can also be used to ascend your jewelry as well.
Best Rings in Windrose
There are various types of rings in Windrose, with each of them having a special ability to enhance your character's stats. We consider the following rings to be the best in Windrose.
|
Champion Ring |
Attacks consume less stamina. Uncommon — 15% less Rare — 20% less Epic — 25% less |
The Champion Ring makes it so your attacks consume much less stamina, with the epic version of the ring making each attack consume 25% less stamina. This is similar to the agile talent, but it works for your attacks instead of the dodge action. |
|
Prospector Ring |
Consume less stamina while gathering resources. Uncommon — 35% less Rare — 50% less Epic — 70% less |
This is not a ring that you will want to take into battle, but it is a great ring to have on your person for when you are gathering resources to build your camp. Consuming less stamina while collecting wood or stone is always great, allowing you to collect more resources with less effort. |
|
Ring of Bravery |
Increases melee damage. Uncommon — 4% increase Rare — 6% increase Epic — 8% increase |
Melee damage is something that everyone needs, and the Ring of Bravery gives you that small boost to your overall melee damage. There are some rings that give you a boost to specific damage types. These are great if you plan on sticking to one weapon type, but if you change types often, the Ring of Bravery is better. |
|
Ring of Divine Protection |
Increases damage resistance. Uncommon — 8% increase Rare — 12% increase Epic — 15% increase |
A solid damage resistance increase is something everyone can get behind. After all, some enemies hit very hard in Windrose. Combine this with some armor, and you will be pretty well protected. |
|
Ring of Lightfoot |
Reduces the distance at which enemies become aggressive. |
The enemies can get somewhat annoying as you explore, and having the Ring of Lightfoot equipped allows you to explore more easily without alerting enemies. This is great for when you don't want to get into combat or want to be chased by enemies all the time. |
