Take up the mantle of a medieval barber surgeon in this game, a deckbuilder inspired by the arcane art of tarot, ancient remedies of the flesh, and the surrounding superstitions. Bloodletter is a game heavily inspired by the healing methods of the medieval times.

Thus a lot of the cards illustrations and overaching themes within the game are tied to this and showcase an overall dark atmosphere. Cruelties of the times that were regarded as healing methods like for example bloodletting and trepanation can be found on the cards, in the opening cinematic and in some UI illustrations.
