It’s more of a speedrun-style game since there are no bonus points or extra money based on how well you clean. The beginning is a bit slow, at least until the looping concept becomes clear. Being able to physically customize the inside of the warehouse, such as changing the flooring type and adding a kind of sunroof, was a neat touch. Visually, the machines are nicely done, with little details like visible buttons in Carpet Cleaning Simulator. The rug designs are varied, but after a few rounds they’ve all been seen, and they give off more clipart than AI vibes.

The “Lady Gaga” one appeared a lot (disclosure: it’s not actually Lady Gaga, but fans will probably know the one being referred to). The sound quality was okay. The music, though, was awful and became repetitive very quickly. There’s a whole little outside area that could have been used more, even if it was just for a few Easter eggs. It worked wonderfully on the Steam Deck and with a Steam Controller. A meteor will eventually fall onto the city—resetting time itself. When it happens, you’ll be sent back to the beginning, forced to clean carpets all over again. However, not everything is lost.
