Mortal Kombat is back in the spotlight thanks to the release of the new live-action film, and if you're looking to bring some of that video game magic home, you can check out two new collectible action figures. McFarlane Toys is expanding its line of Mortal Kombat toys with two new "Klassic" Sub-Zero and Reptile figures. Bearing a design that harkens back to their arcade roots, each figure is also constructed from translucent materials to make them stand out on your shelf and you can preorder them ahead of their August 23 arrival.

More Mortal Kombat Klassic Figures

To expand the collection--and host your very own Mortal Kombat tournament--you can pick up several more figures from McFarlane Toys. The lineup currently includes fan-favorite characters like Johnny CageRaiden, and Ermac alongside a regular version of Reptile.

Mortal Kombat 2 Blu-ray preorders are now live

While its theatrical run isn't over yet, you can also preorder the upcoming Blu-ray release of Mortal Kombat 2. Special features and other bonuses haven't been revealed at the time of writing, but like its predecessor, there'll likely be a healthy amount of bonus materials detailing how the movie and its gory fight scenes were made. As usual, you'll be able to pick this up on 4Kstandard Blu-ray, and DVD.

Walmart has the best-looking version, as its exclusive steelbook 4K edition features the menacing glare of the movie villain Shao Khan on the front, the steely gaze of princess Kitana on the rear, and the showdown between Liu Kang and Kung Lao on the inside.
