Covering the video games industry since 2017, with experience in news, articles, lists, and reviews (and I blame The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask for that).

If you are a fan of RPGs and want a third-person version: Tayná Garcia is a Brazilian journalist (but you can call her Tay) who ended up working with video games after finishing Zelda: Majora's Mask when she was a kid. With more than eight years of experience in the segment, she has been an assistant editor at Jovem Nerd in the past and is currently a contributor at DualShockers and a writer for gaming magazines for Editora Europa. Oh, and she may like Hideo Kojima a bit too much.

Up to this point, we all know that Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 is pretty impressive in various aspects, and one of the most acclaimed is undoubtedly its original soundtrack.

Composed by Lorien Testard and released by Laced Records, the score beautifully mixes orchestral and ambient music with some incredibly emotional vocal themes – and yes, we are talking about that kind of music that gives you goosebumps every time you listen to it!

It seems that this artistic excellence is being reflected recently in a massive way, as the soundtrack continues to dominate global charts even nearly a year after the game's initial release.

According to a roundup published by VGC (thanks, fellas!), the Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 original soundtrack has made history by becoming the first game score ever to reach No. 1 on three different charts: the Official Independent Albums Chart (UK), the Official Physical Albums Chart (France and UK), and the Official Vinyl Albums Chart (France and UK).

Inside the Physical Albums Chart from France and the UK, the album is currently sitting above the latest album “Debí Tirar Mais Fotos” by the Puerto Rican artist Bad Bunny, who headlined the Super Bowl just last weekend. This means that sí, chica, Expedition 33 also has plenty of sazón!
