Cosmodrill lets you explore the vastness of space, dig deep into planets to find resources, upgrade your ship and survive against alien life.

It’s a short space mining adventure! How far are you willing to travel into the dark unknown? The main story can be completed in roughly 2 hours. Exploring optional content offers roughly 2 additional hours. Get ready for a space mining adventure! Drill deep into planets and asteroids, mine valuable resources and discover what’s hidden deep beneath the surface. Upgrade your drill to dig deeper, fly further and defy increasingly powerful enemies! After you activated a mysterious mechanism during a routine mining operation, it teleported you to an unknown star system. It’s up to you to follow the emergency signals to the other space stations, defeat the ominous hostile ships.
Drill through entire planets and asteroids in search of resources and uncover the secrets hidden deep within them. Mine increasingly rare resources as you dig deeper and travel further into space! Use your resources to upgrade your drill. Fly farther, drill deeper, and survive longer to push further into the unknown than ever before! Explore five distinct biomes with unique challenges, uncover alien structures hidden deep inside of planets and black holes in the vastness of space. Endure dangerous lava landscapes and erupting volcanos, survive encounters with alien wildlife and navigate through asteroids filled with electrically charged plasma!
Use your drill to defeat enemies, activate special abilities to triumph in battle, and liberate the space stations occupied by pirates! Good little game to pass the time. The story is on the shorter side and can be completed in around 2 hours, even with some time spent figuring things out in Cosmodrill. Completing everything, including all achievements, should only take around 3–4 hours. Very simple premise and easy controls, with plenty of different sci-fi elements to enjoy. The only real issue is how extremely short it is. Hopefully the developers consider expanding the solar system and perhaps adding a difficulty slider or something similar to make the game more challenging.
Cosmodrill is a fantastic little game… while it lasts. The gameplay loop of Cosmodrill is simple, addictive, and polished to a shine, with mechanics that feel perfectly tuned from start to finish. Pair that with gorgeous pixel art, satisfying progression, and an upbeat presentation, and it’s incredibly easy to recommend. For a game that can realistically be completed in under two hours (and that’s being generous), the asking price feels difficult to justify. There simply isn’t enough content to match the cost, despite how enjoyable every minute is. Highly recommended—but waiting for a sale is advised. At full price, it’s just a bit too short to feel like good value.
