The fantasy world of Exandria, created by Matthew Mercer, has served as the setting for numerous Critical Role campaigns, one-shots, and spin-offs. Critical Role's first campaign — as well as the animated adaptation, The Legend of Vox Machina — was largely set in the northern continent of Tal'Dorei. And in parternship with Critical Role, Polygon has created a splashy new Tal'Dorei map.

Across Tal'Dorei, Critical Role fans (aka Critters) watched as the adventuring party, Vox Machina, traveled throughout the realm and performed incredible deeds, such as liberating Whitestone from the villainous Briarwoods and driving dragons from the prosperous trading city of Westruun. With several adventuring parties having traveled across Tal'Dorei, Critters know how large the continent is. But did Vox Machina first assemble in Syngorn or Stilben? Where is the dwarven stronghold of Kraghammer located? Where did Pike Trickfoot and Grog first meet? Is Zephrah really that far from Whitestone? Did Vox Machina really have to use Keyleth's druidic abilities to teleport everywhere, or were they just being lazy?

Our Tal'Dorei map is here to help. It doesn't just highlight cities, mountains, and towns from across the continent where Vox Machina takes place, but also events throughout Exandria's history. We worked directly with Critical Role's official Lore Keeper Dani Carr and senior brand manager Brittney Austin, to create an accurate map that both new and returning fans can use to identify sites where important battles, character deaths, and more have taken place, while also providing information on their significance throughout Critical Role's campaigns.

Below, see our full Critical Role interactive map of Tal'Dorei.

The map contains spoilers for Critical Role campaigns and The Legend of Vox Machina. If you want to remain spoiler-free, come back later.
