Covering the video games industry since 2017, with experience in news, articles, lists, and reviews (and I blame The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask for that).
If you are a fan of RPGs and want a third-person version: Tayná Garcia is a Brazilian journalist (but you can call her Tay) who ended up working with video games after finishing Zelda: Majora's Mask when she was a kid. With more than eight years of experience in the segment, she has been an assistant editor at Jovem Nerd in the past and is currently a contributor at DualShockers and a writer for gaming magazines for Editora Europa. Oh, and she may like Hideo Kojima a bit too much.
Hideo Kojima fans (which includes me) received a very special treat this Thursday, thanks to Sony’s State of Play, as Death Stranding 2: On the Beach made a somewhat unexpected appearance at the event.

This “walking simulator” may be Hideo Kojima’s best work yet.
And the big news is that the game will no longer be limited to just one platform and is headed to PC – and sooner than you would expect, and also with more bonuses than you would expect.

So it is confirmed that Death Stranding 2: On the Beach is set to release on PC on March 19, 2026, with pre-orders beginning today on both Steam and the Epic Games Store.
According to Jay Boor, Head of Publishing at Kojima Productions (via the PlayStation Blog), the game will arrive on the platform with several enhancements, including upscaling and frame generation support from NVIDIA, AMD, and Intel, alongside unlocked frame rates.
If you are a performance enthusiast, you have plenty of reason to be excited: the game features support for 21:9 ultra-wide displays and cinematics for both PC and PS5, as well as 32:9 support specifically for PC, all in 4K resolution.
Full DualSense controller integration has also been confirmed, along with complete mouse and keyboard support and 3D audio via Dolby Access, DTS Sound Unbound, or Windows Sonic. For the PC crowd, it seems a fully loaded package is on the way, alongside the continuation of Sam Porter Bridges’ fantastic story, of course.

Furthermore, Boor revealed that new modes and features will be coming to both PC and PlayStation 5 soon, adding new challenges and rewards for players. However, we will have to wait a little longer to find out exactly what those are, as more details will be disclosed next month.

Oh, and there is a bonus: if you play on PC and connect your PlayStation account (it seems they learned their lesson, as this will not be mandatory this time), you will earn exclusive in-game patches for backpack customization and a unique suit inspired by the PlayStation logo.
