Dispatch launched on PC and PlayStation 5, but that’s about to change. There are now Dispatch pages on the Nintendo eShop (as discovered by Vooks), confirming that the game is moving to new platforms.
Dispatch Is Coming To Nintendo Switch & Switch 2 In 2026
According to the eShop pages, Dispatch is coming to both the Nintendo Switch and Switch 2 on January 29, 2026. There’s a free update path for people who buy it on the Nintendo Switch and want to upgrade to the Nintendo Switch 2 version in the future.
The digital comics and artwork from the Deluxe Edition will also be available for purchase separately, giving players access to a ton of concept art and notes on the game’s development.
It’s surprising that AdHoc Studio was able to get a Nintendo Switch port ready so quickly, suggesting it was something being worked on in the background, alongside the launch of the later episodes. It’s also surprising that this wasn’t officially announced at The Game Awards 2025, considering that Dispatch was actually nominated.
Dispatch is one of the best games of 2025, and it's exciting to see it expanding its audience. Hopefully, this means Season 2 is also on the way, and when it arrives, it will have a full multi-platform release rather than the staggered one Season 1 had.
