AdHoc Studio has released the total player stats for Dispatch, with one surprising number that has finally answered the "Best Girl" debate once and for all, at least in terms of popularity.

Dispatch is a superhero management simulator with a strong narrative element, which is fitting, as it was made by former Telltale veterans. The game quickly found an audience online, especially when arguments over who the "Best Girl" was broke out, as the protagonist can choose to romance one of two superheroes: the noble Blonde Blazer and the spiky Invisigal.

Who knew existential dread could be so good?

The official AdHoc Studio BlueSky account has revealed Dispatch's combined player stats for 2025. When it comes to romance, there was one character who led the pack, as 1.9 million players chose Invisigal, nearly doubling Blonde Blazer's 1 million fans.

It's surprising that Invisigal took such a decisive lead, considering how unpleasant she is to the protagonist throughout the entire story. Maybe the video game fandom is full of people who are convinced they can change her?

There was also a shocking number of players who didn't choose either, with 266,000 going for "It's complicated" and 164,000 choosing no one. It's possible these people were just holding out for Malevola, unaware that the cruel developers decided not to make a romance option.

Dispatch Season 2 is almost certain, especially with millions of players tuning in to pick their waifu. The question now is how the second season will handle player choices, especially given that Invisigal has several variations in her ending. Maybe the next season will ditch the current cast to avoid acknowledging the player's choices?
