The new Flashpoint update for ARC Raiders has dropped, and of course, we were blessed with a whole host of new quests, continuing the story of the Raiders' struggle against ARC.

Dust On The Wires takes place on Spaceport and requires a good amount of map traversal, as you wander around searching for a lost group of Scouts. What happened to this team, and just what were they planning?

ARC Raiders: Worth Your Salt Quest Guide

First come, first served. No time to lose Raider!

Let’s take a look at the requirements for this quest, as well as the objectives, so you can get this done and maybe have a bit of extra time for some well-needed looting!

Prerequisites

While many missions allow you to complete objectives across multiple trips, this is not one of them. You must do everything in 1 trip, so you’d best head topside with a custom loadout to have a better chance of spawning at the 30-minute mark.

In addition, the centre of Spaceportcan be a bit mad at times, with both players and ARC shooting every which way. You can tackle the objectives in the quest by heading around the outside edge of the map, but it will take significantly longer. Make sure you bring adequate supplies in case of an emergency.

If you’re playing in the new map condition, watch out for the new Vaporiser ARC. You might want to play without Map conditions if you want to complete this quest ASAP.

First off, cross your fingers that you spawn on the eastern side of the map; otherwise, you’ll have a decent trek on your hands.

ARC Raiders: Where To Use the Spaceport Container Storage Key

This guide explains where to use the Spaceport Container Storage key in ARC Raiders.

You need to find a Field Depot on the right side of the map. For me, it was the one just southwest of the East Plains Warehouse. Here, look for the glowing console near the entrance and resend the log.

Raider Tower

Next up, you’ll need to travel to the complete opposite side of the map. Slightly northwest of the Maintenance Hangar, there will be an old, rickety Raider Tower. This isn’t exactly a tall tower, so it isn’t immediately obvious what to look out for.

Climb up the spiral staircase, and resend another log from the terminal at the top. Shani will now tell you to look for the missing Scout troop near the Maintenance Hanger.

The Missing Scouts

Now, head to the Southwestern edge of the maintenance hangar, and you will see a few trollies and supplies that have been toppled over.

Submit your location to Shani, and she will ask you to bring back some evidence. Search through the supplies, and you will find a Scout Patrol Note. Stash this away, and then you’re free to extract whenever you wish.

Remember, you must extract if you wish to bring the note to Shani. If you die after this point, you’ll have to complete the quest again.

After submitting the note to Shani, you’ll receive the following:

Fax Machine Backpack Attachment

To equip this, simply head over to the Raider tab and select customisation. Next, scroll down to the Backpack Attachment tab to equip your new cosmetic.

The real question is, how many people playing ARC Raiders have used a Fax Machine before? I know I haven't!
