Escape From Tarkov Hits 1 Million Sales Celebrates With A Free Promo Code For All Players

After over a decade of anticipation and patience (yeah, you read that right), players were finally graced with the full 1.0 version of Escape From Tarkov, officially released on PC on November 15, 2025.

Now, exactly one month after launch, the Battlestate Games studio has shared some highly impressive numbers for the highly acclaimed extraction shooter, along with a special treat for its passionate (and incredibly addicted) fanbase.

One Million Copies Sold and Billions of Hours Played

In a recent post on X (formerly Twitter), the developers announced that Escape From Tarkov has already sold over one million copies – a quite impressive achievement accomplished in just a single month following the 1.0 version release.

This is definitely not a feat that every game can claim, and to celebrate the news with their community, Battlestate Games also revealed some interesting statistics about the players’ performance on the game so far.

According to the post, more than 500 players have successfully escaped from Tarkov until today, meaning they have reached one of the game’s multiple endings. This can be considered a low number when compared to the total sales, but it certainly proves that the game is no “walk in the park”(and that is its main charm!).

Besides that, players have already spent a staggering total of 135,000,000 hours (or 15,410 years, if you want to get even more impressed) in the treacherous Norvinsk region. “This is equivalent to over 200 million full Customs raids, had each lasted until the final minute of the timer”, says the developers on the post.

Finally, the studio also revealed that a new special promo code has been launched in order to celebrate its sales milestone and thank its players! The code in question is ONEMILLIONPLUS and will instantly grant players one million Roubles for free. And yes, you can redeem it right now through the Tarkov launcher – just enter the code there and be happy.
