Robots are a fairly common sight in the wastelands of Appalachia in Fallout 76. You might enter an area and find a bunch of Assaultrons, or even run into a deadly Sentry Bot.
Not all the robots in Fallout 76 are complete menaces, though. Some are just flying around the map, and don't mean you any harm. Eyebots are typically the go-to non-hostile robots in Fallout 76, but they are great to track down for additional scrap.
Let's break down where you can find Eyebots scattered about the wastelands in Fallout 76.

Eyebot Locations in Fallout 76
Eyebots are a relatively common sight in Fallout 76, and they often appear as random encounters floating around the wasteland. You may fast travel to a railroad station to sell some goods for Caps, just for an Eyebot to float by.
While Eyebots can be random encounters, that doesn't mean there aren't locations where they are more likely or guaranteed to spawn. There are a handful of locations around the map where you are more likely to find Eyebots:
- 98 NAR Regional
- Watoga
- Prickett's Fort
- Camp McClintock
- Torrance House
While each of these locations is likely to have Eyebots, you are most likely to find them in Watoga. Watoga is the robot capital of the wasteland in Fallout 76, meaning you are bound to find robots of each type here.
This also means that you will find plenty of hostile robots in the area, making it difficult to survive if you aren't prepared. On the bright side, Watoga is the same area where you can learn about Daily Operations.
Eyebots are relatively harmless robot enemies that come in multiple variants. They will typically ignore you, choosing to float around a pre-determined path rather than engage in combat.
This enemy type is also very easy to defeat. You won't need to go out of your way to collect legendary gear to take them down, as they can typically be destroyed with one or two hits. Even bashing one with your gun is enough to destroy it.

Here's where you can find Snallygaster across Appalachia in Fallout 76.
One variant of Eyebot to look out for is the EyeBomb. This variant is typically found during the Battle Bots event. What sets them apart from their standard counterparts is their ability to explode.
Eyebots have proximity detectors on them that cause them to explode whenever they get close to an enemy. If you let one get near you, it is likely to explode, heavily damaging you in the process.
Notable Eyebot Loot
Eyebots don't typically have many resources on them, but they do house one that you will typically be using very frequently for crafting. This resource is steel scrap.
Steel scrap is a rather plentiful resource in the wasteland, with it being obtained from scrapping many items. Eyebots will typically drop anywhere from three to five steel scrap.
This scrap is used to craft almost every weapon in the game. It is also used to craft various types of ammo and to modify weapons and armor. Make sure to always collect steel scrap from any Eyebot that you destroy, as it will be useful later on.
