In the past decade, TV and movie adaptations of video games have become extremely popular, as titles such as The Last of Us, Arcane, Minecraft, and Fallout have all achieved recent success, but the Fallout series appears to be breaking away from the pack.
How Does Fallout's Season Finale Tease Where The Next Game Will Take Place?
Fallout Season 2 ended with The Ghoul heading to Colorado, which may be foreshadowing where Fallout 5 will take place.
With a cast that's already overflowing with amazing talent such as Ella Purnell, Aaron Moten, and Walton Goggins, and a stellar reception for the first two seasons, Fallout is keeping the momentum going and has just announced that another legendary actor will be joining the cast for season three.
Breaking Bad Star Aaron Paul Joins Fallout Season Three
Award-winning actor Aaron Paul has played many parts over the years, but he's known best for his role as Jesse Pinkman in the TV show, Breaking Bad, and he's officially joining the Fallout cast for season three.
While his role in the Fallout show has yet to be revealed, it looks as though adding Paul to the roster may have been an easy decision. Aaron Paul is known to be a passionate gamer, and recently voiced Mecha Man in the superhero workplace comedy game, Dispatch.
Not only does he have an actual love for video games, but he's a genuine fan of Fallout, and Executive Producer, Jonathon Nolan, stated in a 2024 interview that Aaron Paul has shown support for the series from the beginning, and has been interested in a part for quite some time. "Aaron Paul was at the premiere, a human being I love so much. And he was very polite. He was very enthusiastic about the show. There was sort of an unspoken kind of like, "What's up, man?" But we've been hearing from so many people, and it's kind of fun to see the Fallout fans come out of the woodwork."

Aaron Paul is a versatile actor who can switch from comedy to heart-wrenching emotional scenes in an instant, and his professionalism and integrity have left a lasting impression on his colleagues.
In an interview with Michael Peyton from IGN, Dispatch Creative Director Nick Herman praised Paul for transforming the Mecha Man character, “He brought a heaviness to the character that started to allow us to take him more seriously. You can actually feel that he's got this burden on his shoulders and this weight from his past, and the game got a little bit more serious."
