In the first season of Prime Video's Fallout, Ella Purnell's Lucy lost one of her fingers to The Ghoul (Walton Goggins) and eventually replaced it with another ghoul's finger. Purnell has been vocal about her dislike for Lucy's "poop finger," but it's coming back for Season 2.

While speaking with IGN, Purnell offered a more positive assessment of Lucy's mismatched finger.

"I'm very fond of my poop finger," said Purnell. "It's the thing that is the Wasteland that Lucy carries with her. It's quite literally a piece of the Wasteland. Some random ghoul's finger that she's now got stuck. Even if she was to go back to the vault to try to continue life as normal, she will always have this reminder."

Outside of the show's set, Purnell conceded that, "It is still an embarrassment. I just have to remember to take it off at the end of the day and not go home with it."

Following the end of Season 1, Lucy is now traveling with the Ghoul, who has her original finger on his hand. It remains to be seen if that becomes a topic of conversation between them. One thing we can rule out is any romance between Lucy and the Ghoul. Purnell recently shared her distaste for that shipping, much to the amusement of Goggins.

Fallout executive producer Jonathan Nolan has indicated that there are plans to shoot Season 3 this summer and turn around those episodes as quickly as possible. For anyone who needs to catch up on the show or watch it for the first time, Fallout Season 1 is streaming for free on Samsung TV Plus. In other Fallout news, game director Todd Howard will be in attendance during The Game Awards on Thursday, where he'll present an award.

Prime Video will debut the Season 2 premiere of Fallout on December 17. The remaining episodes of Season 2 will be dropped weekly.
