FF14 July Fan Fest schedule revealed ahead of Evercold expansion

Square Enix has released the schedule for the upcoming FF14 event in Berlin

With only a couple of weeks before Final Fantasy 14's Berlin Fan Fest, Square Enix is finally teasing what the community can expect at the event. The Fan Fest stage and stream schedule has been released, giving fans some insight into what will be announced in Berlin from July 25-26.

Excitement for the MMO's next expansion, Evercold, has been growing since its announcement in April. With a January 2027 release window, the major update is getting closer. Square Enix will take Berlin Fan Fest as an opportunity to share a wealth of new information on the expansion and the numerous changes it will bring to the MMO. Here's exactly what to expect and how to watch all the biggest events.

Evercold and more news to expect at FF14's Berlin Fan Fest 2026

The big announcements at Berlin Fan Fest will be about Final Fantasy 14: Evercold, the MMO's next major expansion. It wouldn't be surprising for a solid date to materialize in Berlin. The last Fan Fest also kept things pretty slim with regard to Evercold's story. As we get closer to release, it is likely the team will share more details on what awaits the Warrior of Light in the snowy new region the expansion takes place in.

There are also plenty of gameplay changes coming with Evercold that the community is awaiting more details on. It was announced the MMO would be getting a new season model. Producer and director Naoki Yoshida assured fans this did not mean a season pass, but clarification on how it works would be welcome. Perhaps the biggest update is the newly announced Evolved Mode for combat, which completely changes how jobs play. No specifics on what the new system will look like were provided during the April Fan Fest. Fans have expressed some concern, so expect a more detailed look into Evolved Mode at Berlin.

The typical announcements Square Enix makes for expansions are also safe bets. It is likely that at least one of the two new jobs that Evercold will introduce will be revealed in Berlin. Don't expect both to be shown off, though, as Square Enix will want to keep some announcements for Tokyo Fan Fest later in the year. There is also a chance we will get a better look at the upcoming Neon Genesis Evangelion crossover that will serve as the Alliance Raid series in Evercold.

It won't be all Evercold, though. The description of "Letter from the Producer" on the official Final Fantasy XIV site says it will cover "all things Beastmaster." That is the latest limited job to join the game, set to be released on Sept. 8 as part of patch 7.56. The development team has already shown off some of the interesting mechanics it is cooking up for the job, and it'll be nice to get a more holistic vision of its place in the MMO.

How to watch Final Fantasy 14's Berlin Fan Fest 2026

All the main events at Berlin Fan Fest will be made available to the public through streaming. Warriors of Light can tune in by going to the official Final Fantasy 14 YouTube or Twitch channels. All but two events at the convention will be available to watch for free. Both the piano concert on day one and the Primals performance on day two will be paid streams; details on which Square Enix will share at a future date.
