What's new in FFXIV patch 7.5?

The shining star of Final Fantasy 14 patch 7.5 is the new batch of main scenario quests. Called "Trails to the Heavens," this patch will likely reveal what is the next steps your character and many former members of the Scions of the Seventh Dawn will take as they investigate the key, learning what this mysterious device is capable of.

Patch 7.5 is actually wrapping up more than one storyline, since it is also bringing the third and final tier of the 24-player alliance raid "Echoes of Vana'diel." Once again, you will have the chance to explore areas and boss battles based on Final Fantasy 11, while collecting beautiful pieces of equipment. And there's a giant Shantotto in this raid. What else do you need?

Warriors of Light eager for a challenge haven't been ignored. In patch 7.5, a new trial called "The Unmaking" is coming along with its extreme version. While the regular version is mandatory to complete the main quest, the extreme trial will test your group and offer a chance at a new mount for lucky players. But for those who want even more, this patch is also adding the Shinryu's Domain (Unreal) trial — Godspeed if you plan on fighting this one.
