In FLESHBREAK, Victims don’t simply die — they mutate into expanding, writhing masses of living flesh that continue to move, reach, and hunt. Food is scarce, trust is fragile, and anyone you meet might already be at the edge of transformation. Travel with your wife Horu, your younger sister Alora, and the aspiring scientist Axton as you search for safety, supplies, and the possibility of a cure.

Every encounter forces you to make difficult moral decisions that directly shape the fate of your group. Help strangers and risk bringing the infection closer, or abandon them to keep your loved ones alive. Watch relationships strain under fear, jealousy, and desperation in FLESHBREAK. Witness forgiveness, sacrifice, and the tragedy of watching someone you care about slowly become part of the crawling flesh. An “everything that can go wrong, will go wrong, perhaps even twice” VN. If you’re looking for a quick, mostly doomed visual novel to scroll through, this is for you.

The choices don’t exactly matter—they mainly unlock slightly different endings and additional gallery panels afterward. Not an easy recommendation for a general audience, but still an enjoyable experience despite its shortcomings: limited player choice at FLESHBREAK, an overly homogeneous color palette, short length, and the MC getting cucked. The interactive elements also came as a pleasant surprise and added a nice touch. To sum the VN up with one negative and one positive: Major turnoff? Your wife cheats on you. Biggest strength?

The author fully commits to their art style. Having also created ACM 1 and 2, they clearly have a great eye for horror. Gore isn’t for everyone, but the variety, detail, and creativity of the disturbing imagery showcase a genuinely uncommon artistic skill. The horror is effective even with its somewhat cartoonish 2D presentation. The lewd artwork is also well done, even though there’s very little of it in FLESHBREAK.
