Furtive Meetings Quest Walkthrough in ARC Raiders

Furtive Meetings is a new ARC Raiders quest released in the recent Flashpoint update, building upon the groundwork set in previous Stella Montis questlines.

Some shady folk have been having secret meetings around Stella Montis. Sounds like bad news! It’s up to you to find their secret meeting spots and find out what they’re up to. Perhaps they have some evidence for you to discover. Only one way to find out!

Let’s take a look at the most optimal way to complete this quest, while avoiding Shredders and rogue players alike!

Furtive Meetings Quest Prerequisites

Before you can tackle this quest, you need to have completed the previous quest in the Stella Montis series. The Fragmented Logs quest was also released in this update.

This next mission requires you to cross the entirety of Stella Montis, from the far west of the map to the far east. If you’re experienced with Stella Montis, while it may seem like a pretty small map, it can actually take a while to cross due to the fairly complex layout.

It’s certainly worth bringing some Adrenaline Shots with you, in case you encounter any roaming Shredders or Bastions, and perhaps a decent weapon to protect yourself with. In the worst-case scenario, it can never hurt to have a Photoelectric Cloak.

All objectives in this mission must be done within a single round. Failing to deliver the quest item at the end will result in failure of the mission.

Medical Research

The first area you’ll need to explore is the Medical Research Zone, located in the far west of the map.

Wait a little bit after spawning before actually starting this quest, so that other players on the map will have unlocked the large shutter blocking access. Once these shutters are open, the map is far easier to traverse.

Once you reach the Medical Lab, you’ll need to head as far south-west as possible until you reach a flight of stairs. Beneath these stairs, you’ll notice a curious mark on the wall. This is where you need to record the evidence.

Robotic Sandbox B

As soon as you’ve done this, you can immediately head eastwards, towards the robotic sandboxes. You can either run north and around through the Assembly area, or cross the more treacherous Loading Bay to get there.

While the hunt in your logbook says this is located between the Southern Sandbox and the Seed Vault, it’s not close to the Seed Vault at all. It’s actually right next to Sandbox B, just a tiny bit to the east, down a short corridor. Once more, record the evidence, and you can move on to the final objective.

Seed Vault

The final area is directly northwest of the Seed Vault entrance. There is a long corridor that leads north away from the Vault and connects to the Cultural Archives. Just like in the Medical Research area, you need to look at the base of these stairs to find the final meeting point.

Finally, search the container located in the meeting spot and pick up the note that was dropped. Once this is in your inventory, you can safely extract and head back to Shani.

Furtive Meetings Quest Rewards

After giving the note to Shani, you’ll receive the following items:

1x Aphelion
5x Energy Clip

A legendary weapon! I know, pretty crazy for a quest reward, right? If you haven’t used the Aphelion before, this weapon uses energy clips instead of regular ammunition.

This weapon is extremely powerful when used against ARC units, so if you’re planning on giving those Close Scrutiny maps a try, then this is certainly worth bringing along with you. Just be careful not to lose it!

In addition, once you’ve completed this quest, you gain access to the next quest in the Stella Montis series: Last Entry.
