Two days have passed since the grand opening of GGMods and the modding portal's launch festival is in full swing.

On top of compiling a massive collection of new and classic mods, GGMods is also hosting a massive giveaway event to celebrate. The draw is taking place tomorrow, April 16, so better get a move on if you still want in.

Tomorrow's live event is a chance to get familiar with GGMods and its long-term vision.

Despite being outwardly similar to other modding portals, the modus operandi of GGMods is what sets it apart, specifically in regard to cutting creators in.

The portal offers authors the opportunity to earn from their creations based on their popularity and quality. In the long run, this system allows talented modders to pursue careers in game development without having to sacrifice their livelihood for it.

As part of the launch celebrations, the live GGMods event taking place tomorrow will also have a large prize pool for the community.

The opening livestream kicks off tomorrow, April 16, at 18:00 EDT. The showcase will cover some of the features of GGMods that help both modders and players have a better experience, the draw of the main giveaway, and details on other events and prizes.

The prize pool for the GGMods livestream is fairly generous, featuring a grand prize of a Steam game bundle valued at $1,500. The three runner-ups will receive three Steam gift cards, while other community members are in the running for thirty Discord Nitro subscriptions and individual Steam game keys.

To participate in the giveaway, head over to the sign-up page and complete the steps there before the start of the event at 18:00 on April 16.

The easiest way to participate is to join the GGMods Discord community, which gives you ten entries in tomorrow's draw, but there are additional challenges you can complete to increase your chances of winning.
