Hell Let Loose Vietnam Locks in June Release Date, Physical Copies Will Have to Wait Longer

Expression Games and Team17 have announced today that Hell Let Loose: Vietnam is set to release digitally on Steam, Epic Games Store, Xbox, and PlayStation 5 on June 18th, 2026. A physical edition for PS4 and Xbox Series X will follow on August 5th.

Hell Let Loose was originally released in 2021 as a multiplayer tactical FPS taking place on the Western, North African, and Eastern fronts of World War II. While it didn't exactly light the world on fire, it found itself a dedicated playerbase. Hell Let Loose: Vietnam was first announced in 2025, trading in multiple WWII fronts for the sole conflict surrounding the Vietnam War.

You can pre-order the Standard Edition, which includes the base game along with a pre-order bonus of a US Army Boat Crew Uniform, for $39.99 / €39.99 / £34.99. A Deluxe Edition, which will run you $59.99 / €59.99 / £54.99, includes the following:

Hell Let Loose: Vietnam Will Have a Free-to-Play Open Beta Weekend

In addition to the massive-scale battles, Hell Let Loose: Vietnam features six maps, 17 battle roles, vehicles, and jungle warfare reminiscent of Vietnam. You'll also have vehicles to utilize, tunnels to build, and tactical strategy to coordinate with your teammates.

We were lucky enough to go hands-on with Hell Let Loose: Vietnam earlier this year and came away impressed.

Our time with Hell Let Loose: Vietnam was short...Begrudgingly, I'll have to wait while Expression Games finishes this one up, but after this week, I can tell you that the wait will have been well worth it. Vietnam War gaming is finally back on the menu
