Beware the physics while carrying the King! Your speed, acceleration, and angular momentum directly affect his balance. Every step you take decides the King’s fate—and therefore yours. Keeping the King balanced is up to you!

Lift the stretcher up or down, rotate it left or right, and use physics to your advantage. Bonk the King to steady him—but he might get angry. Do it at your own risk! King is responsive to his environment; you can manipulate him as you wish. You could be a bit kinder, though. Or be ready for whips and tantrums. Pick up the King and drag him back onto the stretcher. Simple? Think again. Use the stretcher to interact with dynamic obstacles and clear your path! The idea is simple, but the physics make everything way funnier than expected.

Expect plenty of dropped kings, finger-pointing, and laughter throughout. Hold Your King is one of those games that works best when it isn’t taken too seriously. If chaotic co-op games are your thing, this is definitely worth trying. It’s a chaotic rage game where the simple concept quickly turns into frantic teamwork, constant communication, and plenty of playful arguing over who forgot to raise the stretcher—or accidentally lowered it instead.

Controller players may find the keyboard and mouse controls a bit challenging, so improved controller support would make Hold Your King more accessible. Another issue is that the in-game voice chat may not work reliably in every session. Even so, the experience remains consistently entertaining.
