House Cleaner Simulator starts off as a relaxing and genuinely enjoyable little simulator, with players cleaning apartments, upgrading different cleaning tools, and slowly turning messy places into spotless homes. It’s satisfying and easy to get into. The core gameplay is solid but not especially unique. Eventually, however, the game starts to feel repetitive: “Congratulations! Please clean the exact same kitchen for the 47th time.” If the developers add more unique jobs, random events, different property types, or larger “disaster cleanup” missions, this could become something much more memorable.

A few useful mechanics and quirks worth knowing: A large green circle appears around dirty spots when the cursor is nearby, making grime much easier to find. The circle disappears once the area has been cleaned. The Look tool, which highlights dirt, is relatively inexpensive (15 in-game currency), but the effect only lasts for a short time before another 15 currency must be spent. Water bucket changes can be sped up for 5 in-game currency, though the fee is charged every time.

Trash does not actually need to be caught despite the animation suggesting otherwise. Simply click it and move on—the trash ends up in the bag automatically. When the garbage bag is full, it must be placed in the back of the truck. The water bucket can be teleported instantly to the player’s location as often as needed, and the water never spills. There’s no need to retrace steps to find the bucket or worry about accidentally knocking it over while cleaning.
