How to Catch all Itzaland Fish in Infinity Nikki

While fashion is certainly always at the forefront in Infinity Nikki, there are also plenty of thrills in discovering the countless treasures and creatures found in each region of the game. Thankfully, Itzaland (added as part of the major 2.0 update) has all of that and more to offer players, and it's sure to keep you busy while enjoying Nikki's ongoing journey through Miraland.

One type of creature in particular that you don't want to miss in your travels around Itzaland is the various types of fish found in its gleaming waters. Some of them are especially important for rare outfits, such as the Providence Immemorial Miracle Outfit, so you'll want to know where to find them all.

How to Fish in Infinity Nikki

Fishing in Itzaland functions entirely similarly to other current regions in Infinity Nikki, and requires your preferred Fishing ability outfit. To unlock the Fishing ability, you first need to craft the default Rippling Serenity outfit as part of the 'Unexplained Coma Incidents' quest in Chapter 1 of Wishfield's main story.

Fish can be caught by visiting "fishing nodes" scattered around various rivers and lakes (as seen above). You'll find 3–4 fish in each node, and sometimes one will even contain an iridescent Whimstar fish, which rewards you with a Whimstar for catching it. Once a node has been exhausted, it will not reset until the following day (real time), so keep that in mind if you're looking to grind a certain kind of fish for crafting purposes. You can also supplement your inventory with more fish from the in-game store (Resonance tab) and/or the Dig, Pear-Pal feature.

Furthermore, as you catch each fish from a node, you'll also obtain Insight Points, which can in turn be used to unlock more nodes on the Heart of Infinity Grid that give you the ability to obtain Essence along with your catches.

All Itzaland Fish in Infinity Nikki (Locations)

Per the compendium, Itzaland features a little over a dozen types of fish, including existing species from Wishfield, along with ones that are entirely unique to Itzaland. While the roster is perhaps not as extensive as the region's bestiary of animals or the array of Esselings that can be found lurking in the forest, these catches can nonetheless prove crucial for some of your most coveted fashion crafts.
