With DualShockers, she specializes in crafting polished, informative, and enjoyable gaming guides that help pave a clear path for players and don't skimp on the details that matter most.

Seasonal events have since become a fixture in Phasmophobia's annual cycle of updates, and while the team at Kinetic Games continues to work towards a full 1.0 launch of the game, they're helping to keep ghost hunters busy with these limited-time event challenges. These challenges provide unique objectives for you to complete on different existing maps to earn themed customization rewards.

To help bring some spooky vibes for Spring, the 2026 Cursed Hollow event has returned as part of Phasmophobia's Cursed Hollow (v0.16.1.0) update, and will be available for the community to participate in through most of April. While the event follows most of the usual rules and objectives as other in-game events, there's a small, exciting twist this time around in terms of rewards. With that, here's how to complete the 2026 Cursed Hollow event in Phasmophobia.

How to Complete the 2026 Cursed Hollow Event in Phasmophobia

The 2026 Cursed Hollow seasonal event is automatically available to all players as part of the Cursed Hollow (v0.16.1.0) update released on March 31, 2026. Simply download the update, log in to your game, and you should see the revamped lobby area along with a new brochure for Cursed Hollow on your Event Board (as seen above).

The 2026 Cursed Hollow Event runs from March 31 - April 21, 2026, so make sure to keep track of your progress and unlock the rewards you want in that timeframe.

Similar to other seasonal events in Phasmophobia, to participate in Cursed Hollow and earn points toward rewards, you'll need to complete routine investigations on maps that are designated for the event. In other words, only certain maps will be available for Cursed Hollow objectives each day, and those maps will change each day (real-time). You can tell which ones are available by the nest icon indicated in the bottom-right corner of their respective photo on the map selection board in the lobby.

Potential Cursed Hollow maps can include the following:

  • 6 Tanglewood Drive (a great opportunity to work on the Entangled Terror Challenge as well)
  • 13 Willow Street
  • 42 Edgefield Road
  • 10 Ridgeview Court
  • Nell's Diner
  • Grafton Farmhouse
  • Bleasdale Farmhouse
  • Camp Woodwind
  • Maple Lodge Campsite
  • Point Hope

Once you've arrived at one of these maps, you'll need to focus on earning Event Points. This can be done by completing one or all three optional objectives listed in the van during an investigation, correctly identifying the ghost, and revealing Forest Minions hidden around the map itself. The more of these you complete, the more Event Points you'll earn.

Also, during the first week of the event (March 31 - April 7), you'll earn double XP and Event Points from all contracts you complete. This especially makes fulfilling the 'Personal' tier of rewards much more efficient, so make sure to take advantage of that limited-time boost while it's available.

How to Find Forest Minions

One key to earning Event Points in the Cursed Hollow event is by finding Forest Minions hidden around the map. While normally invisible, they're always located at one of the many nests full of eggs you'll see in various spots. However, only a handful of those nests will actually have a minion.

The first clue to tracking them down is to listen for a distinct "hissing" noise they make. Simply approach one of the egg nests and listen closely for that hiss sound. If you hear it, that means you've found a minion.

To reveal it, you'll need a DOTs Projector, and any upgrade tier of it (second tier is arguably the best) will do the job. Place it in close proximity to the nest, and the DOTs will reveal the silhouette of the jackalope-shaped minion.

Furthermore, there are also "lucky" and "unlucky" Forest Minions you can find. If it's a Lucky Forest Minion, it will simply run away quietly after being revealed. It will also reduce the ghost's speed by 10%, and this is stackable. Meanwhile, if you find an Unlucky Forest Minion, it will screech and jump at you instead. This will increase the ghost's speed by 10%, and it is stackable as well.

All 2026 Cursed Hollow Event Rewards in Phasmophobia

This is where the twist to this particular seasonal event comes into play. While unique ID Cards and Badges have since become a staple reward in these events, and this iteration of Cursed Hollow does have one for you to collect, the spotlight goes to the game's first-ever player Cosmetics. There's not one but three total cosmetics you can earn from this event as part of the tier of Personal Rewards.

There is a small catch, though. As revealed in the update's official announcement, while you can technically earn these rewards during the event's cycle, you can't actually equip them yet until the update for character customization comes out. As to when that is, there's still no established date on the 2026 Roadmap, but the event announcement did indicate that it's "due for release soon". So we can anxiously hope that we'll get to try on our new ghost-hunting drip perhaps by the end of summer.

In the meantime, you can also earn the Pathfinder ID Card and Badge as part of the event's Community Goals reward tier. There's both a static and an animated version to unlock.

Finally, note that while they tend to coincide with major updates to the game, as of this writing, there are no new Twitch Drop rewards available for the 2026 Cursed Hollow event.
