Far Far West is a relatively simple FPS game until you get to the secret quests. Things hidden all over a single map, like the cacti quest, give you a much better reason to explore the map.
Most of these exist in a contained space on a single map, but this one is a little different. If you've been exploring, you've probably seen a few crashed moons around a few of the maps.
10 Action Games that Reward Exploration
Change your mind about open-world exploration.
These are actually part of a secret quest for Area 41. You'll need to memorize what you saw or use this guide to finish up the Area 41 quest to get access to some pretty solid rewards.
Where to Find the Crashed Moons
You'll find these scattered around four of the maps. Each one will have a symbol on one of the sides, and below it, you'll be able to see dots which indicate the order they go in.
If you're playing co-op, someone might already know a couple of these, so it doesn't hurt to ask. If you're playing solo, you can check out the four maps in order based on the prompt that comes up when interacting with the moon on Area 41.
You'll be visiting the following maps:
- Far West
- Desert
- Canyon
- Woodlands
Far West Moon
This is probably the very first one you'll end up seeing while trotting around the map. If you're running around in co-op, you might not see this one, so it might be a good idea to have someone screenshot it.
This one is in the southern part of the map near the river. You'll be able to see this one in the corn field just like any good alien signature would be.
Desert Moon
For the Desert, you shouldn't have too much trouble finding this one. It seems like the objectives will end up spawning near this one, so even by completing the mission you'll likely see this one.
In the most southern part of the map you'll spot a small bit of land sticking out. There you can find the moon but be careful since there is a Maurader base nearby, and they'll likely continue to shoot at you while visiting it.
Canyon Moon
Thankfully, the Canyon map starts unlocked, so you won't need to do anything too crazy to find this one. It isn't well hidden, but because of the sky color, it might blend in a bit from afar.
This one is off the westernmost side of the map. You'll find it surrounded by a bunch of cacti in a circle because it seems like whatever is leaving these things around really likes circles.
Woodlands Moon
This is a bit harder to get since you'll have to have unlocked the Woodland map. It isn't particularly difficult to unlock, but you'll need to dedicate a few runs to getting it unlocked.
On the eastern part of the map, you'll find a fairly cleared out area and in the center of it will be the moon. Again, it's a little tough to find because of the colors and the fact that there are so many trees obscuring line of sight.
Area 41 Moon Puzzle
In Area 41, you'll be able to find the spot where you enter all the symbols you managed to find. If you end up finding this first, it might be a little confusing since there's really only one indicator of what you have to do.
You should put in the symbols you got in the correct order from left to right and then hit the button. If it isn't correct, you'll hear a noise and the machine will reset, but do it correctly, and it'll light up while giving you the notification that it's complete.
You don't have to find all the symbols yourself. As long as you input the correct ones, it'll clear the mission.
Rewards
This reward is similar to the Bell quest, where you'll get a Joker card for your troubles. It'll be for your gun, so you might want to plan accordingly.
You'll receive the following reward for completing this quest:
- Anti-Gravity Falls - +2% chance to spawn an anti-gravity area when an enemy dies
That's all you've got for this one. This FPS game has many more secrets to find, so grab a bunch of friends and get yourselves into the Far Far West and see everything there is to see.
