Ethan Krieger (He/Him) is an editor at DualShockers that got started in the writing industry by covering professional basketball for a sports network. Despite being a diehard sports fan (mainly formula one, basketball, American football, and golf), video games have always been his #1 interest.

Mouse: P.I. for Hire is a blast of a game, and also features quite a few additional things for you to do aside from the main quest. From hundreds of collectibles to fourteen total side missions, you'll have your options.

The extra quests are actually called side jobs, and truthfully, the majority aren't too overly tricky to complete. Still, they're typically missable, unless you have a strategic save file to pop back into later.

Let's make sure you don't miss out on Blueprints, Please, one of the earliest side jobs in Mouse: P.I.

How to Start the Side Job

Mouse PI

The Blueprints, Please side job takes place during the Cheeseball Sub main job. That means as soon as Cheeseball Sub is available, you should go pick up the side job before anything else.

Speak with Tammy Tumbler, who is located in the basement of her shop behind the Ammo Store. She'll ask you to pick up some Interesting Blueprints on your next mission.

With the side job active, you can now get to work. Head to your car, then drive over to the Old Subway.

Once in the mission, you'll simply progress it normally till you nearly reach the end. Eventually, you'll reach the air vent, seen in the picture above. Crawl through.

This leads to a locked door, with a ladder to the right that follows the critical path of the quest. We want to go through the locked door. It's an easy one to tailpick, but there's a picture above if you need help cracking it.

Through this door is a tall, open room with a switch just inside. Flip the switch, which turns on a fan at the back of the room. Using your new glide ability that you earned after this level's boss fight, fly up.

You can land on the platform with the four burning barrels. Now, turn around a look behind you notice a little hut, just below the platform you're standing on.

Jump down and enter the hut to find the Interesting Blueprints for Tammy. After collecting them, exit this room, then continue on to complete the main job as normal. Then, head back to the P.I. Office.

Rewards

Once back, speak with Tammy to give her the blueprints. She's in her shop, just like before.

As a reward, she'll give you two schematics, which are used to upgrade weapons at the B.A.N.G. desk. This is a great prize, and you should consider upgrading the James Gun if you haven't already since it's easily the best weapon in the game.
