Game Freak and Omega Force's surprise social game hit Pokémon Pokopia is just over a month old now, but thousands of new players are still picking up the game and beginning their charming journey as a human-like Ditto in Pokémon's highest rated game yet.
While Pokopia is an E-rated perfect blend of Minecraft, Animal Crossing, and Pokémon, there are a few sections in the game that may be confusing for players and halt them from progressing further in Pokopia's story and world.

8 Pokémon Games that Prove the Series Can Still Surprise Players
These eight Pokemon games exceeded fan expectations and managed to surprise players.
One of the most complex quests or requests, as they're called in Pokopia, is Brighten Things Up!, which tasks players with trying to find a way to brighten the cloudy Bleak Beach in order to wake up a slumbering, moss-covered Snorlax called Mosslax.
How to Access and Prepare for Brighten Things Up
Upon first entering Bleak Beach, players will be tasked with helping several local Pokémon, including Meowth, Piplup, Torchic, and Trubbish, with cleaning up the area and making their habitats a bit more comfortable and homey.
As people explore Bleak Beach, they'll find numerous utility poles scattered throughout the coastal area and player should strive to collect them all as they'll become critical pieces to completing Brighten Things Up!
After increasing Bleak Beach's environmental level a bit by helping local Pokémon, Trubbish will eventually lead players to a walled off area near the lighthouse to investigate weird noises which players will discover are coming from the snoring Mosslax.
Professor Tangrowth and Meowth then suggest Ditto brighten up the town to wake up Mosslax and potentially learn more about the missing humans, causing the Brighten Things Up! request to officially begin.
The best way to begin preparing to complete the request is by collecting and crafting utility poles as they can connect to local power sources such as windmills, waterwheels, and furnaces which could then power up nearby streetlights and other illuminating machines.
Utility poles require iron ore and stone to be made and while electric-type Pokémon like Mareep can activate streetlights on their own, they won't stay on forever unless a constant source of energy is nearby, such as the poles.
Torchic will also suggest creating a lot of campfires, bonfires, torches, and fire-based habitats to help brighten up the area and cause Mosslax's three head-grown flowers to bloom.
How to Light Up Bleak Beach
Individual fires and streetlights will help light up Bleak Beach a bit, but in order to properly wake up Mosslax, players will need to use nearby windmills, waterwheels, and furnaces to power up specific structures and machines.
Directly westward of the Pokémon Center, players will find a furnace which they can power up by filling it with any kind of organic item such as berries, sticks, and honey.
Near Mosslax's cave, players will find a waterwheel which could be used to power up spotlights atop the nearby lighthouse by placing utility poles leading up to the top of the lighthouse.
Windmills can also be found near the lighthouse and near the furnace, which can be used to power other machines by placing utility poles from the windmills to specific machines like vending machines.
Once the furnace and its nearby coastal windmill are connected to utility poles, players should lead the poles to the charging station located near Mosslax's cave.
Five circles on the back of the charging station will indicate whether or not the entire station is powered up and once each circle is illuminated, players will essentially be ready to go to complete the request.
Waking Up Mosslax
All players have to do now is talk to Torchic and Professor Tangroweth after Mosslax reaches 80 bloom points, from which players will be sent off to find Peakychu, a pale, dim-lit Pikachu found on a small island near the furnace.
After placing shell lamps inside Mosslax's cave upon Peakychu's suggestion, Peakychu will ask players to connect poles from the windmills to the charging station, which players should have already done at this point.
Peakychu will then absorb electricity from the station and use flash to light up the entire town, causing all three of Mosslax's flowers to bloom before suddenly a massive thunderbolt strikes down, opening up Mosslax's cave and finally waking the Pokémon up.
The legendary electric-type Pokémon Raikou from Pokémon Gold and Silver will then appear, who explains that he was the source of the powerful thunderbolt and suggests that humans left Bleak Beach after multiple natural diasters forced them to leave.
After Raikou disappears, the Ditto, Peakychu, and Professor Tangrowth can finally speak to Mosslax about the humans, and it tells a story of how it was once fed by humans, but after they mysteriously left, it got into a fight with another Pokémon, causing it to fall into a deep slumber.
From here, players will have finally completed the Brighten Things Up! request and be allowed to travel to the next area called Sparkling Skylands, so long as they have also completed the Time to Party! request in the Rocky Ridges.
