Ethan Krieger (He/Him) is an editor at DualShockers that got started in the writing industry by covering professional basketball for a sports network. Despite being a diehard sports fan (mainly formula one, basketball, American football, and golf), video games have always been his #1 interest.
Down, down, down to the bottom of the sea. That's where we're heading next in the wonderful, monochromatic world of Mouse: P.I. for Hire. And boy, this one is gonna stink. Not because this side job is bad or anything, but because we're going somewhere called Fart Harbor. Jack just can't catch a break, can he?

MOUSE: P.I. For Hire Review
Gritty noir detectives and wacky cartoon hi-jinks make a remarkably great pair in this fast-paced FPS.
Like everything in Mouse: P.I., you can totally miss the Friends in Deep Places side job if you aren't staying on top of things. Luckily for you, we've got the lowdown on this one.
How to Start the Side Job
Before you can attempt this side job, you'll need to have unlocked the Glugging from the Deep main job. Afterward, you'll need to go speak with everyone's least favorite character, conspiracy theorist Cameron Bozo. He's outside the Little & Big Bar, just across from your office door.
He'll ask you to look for his friend in the scenic and lovely-sounding Fart Harbor, because he's heard his chum is *gulp* sleeping with the fishes. You'll agree to investigate for him.
With the side job active, grab some nose plugs and drive down to Fart Harbor. Sweet.
Completing the Side Job
Eventually, as you progress the main job, you'll cobble together a deep sea diving suit so that you can journey under the sea. Unfortunately, it's not singing crabs and mermaids down here, but instead, dozens of enemies and a few giant, toxic angler fish. Oh boy.
You'll work your way through a few toxic fields where you can shoot the light dangling from the angler fishes' heads in order to nullify the poison effect and sneak on through. After a few of these instances, you'll reach one with a giant angler fish skeleton at the back of the area.
Just behind this angler fish skeleton, look up. You'll notice an elevated, horizontal path/ledge that looks like you can jump up to it. Would you believe it, you can jump up to it!
Using the rocks below the ledge, double-jump up, then look to your left to spot a cave you can enter.
Inside, you'll see an especially sleepy boy out cold on a comfy-looking mattress. This guy seems too peaceful to disturb, but Jack isn't exactly known for his subtlety, either. Wake the guy up and talk to him.
This is Cameron's friend, and it turns out, his name is literally Sleeps With the Fishes. Sure, okay.
After confirming he's alive, you're done here. Complete the mission and head back to the P.I. Office.
Rewards for Completion
Go tell Cameron the good news, who is waiting for you in the same spot as before. His friend's name causes some confusion, of course, but Cameron will eventually be elated to hear that his buddy is still kicking. Or, swimming/sleeping, I suppose.
For your reward, Bozo gives you a nice, new baseball card! This one is Jacob "Cheesehead" McQueen. Go, Pack, go.
