Ethan Krieger (He/Him) is an editor at DualShockers that got started in the writing industry by covering professional basketball for a sports network. Despite being a diehard sports fan (mainly formula one, basketball, American football, and golf), video games have always been his #1 interest.

Next on your side job journey through the wonderful black and white world of Mouse: P.I. is Oh Yes... They Float. Yes, this seems to be a reference to Pennywise the Dancing Clown from IT, since this job also takes place at a circus, but fear not. This one isn't too bad.

MOUSE: P.I. For Hire Review

Gritty noir detectives and wacky cartoon hi-jinks make a remarkably great pair in this fast-paced FPS.

Still, like most side jobs in Mouse: P.I. (and especially because there's no chapter select), you'll want to make sure you don't miss out on this quest, as it's more than possible to blow right by it and accidentally skip it. Let's make sure this doesn't happen to you.

Tickets, please!

How to Start the Side Job

Mouse PI

You'll pick this side job up right after the It All Points to Here, Right? main job. Before you leave on this next adventure, you'll want to talk to the always pleasant Millie Curd, who is standing on a bench out front of the Little & Big Bar. It's not exactly the best place for a child, but she's going through some stuff.

Speak with her, and she'll ask you to bring a balloon back from the circus.

Next up, you're all set to head to the Secret Show portion of the game. Get ready for clowns!

Completing the Side Job

Mouse PI

This is a really simple one to track down. As you progress the main job normally, you'll eventually end up in the arena pictured above. Clear out all the enemies.

After this, for the main job, you'll need to play two side show games in order to earn two more show tickets to keep progressing.

Mouse PI

Not so fast, however. In the corner of this arena, and to the left of the dynamite game, you'll see an additional smaller booth. Head here.

Mouse PI

The circus worker who hilariously keeps asking, "What are ya buyin'?" like a certain Resident Evil legend will be selling a box of balloons. Fork over the $25, and you have the prize Millie was looking for.

That's it! From here, just beat the main job, and head back to the P.I. Office.

Rewards

Mouse PI

Once you're back in town, find Millie again. She's in the same spot. Speak with her, and you'll give her the balloons.

Mouse PI

As your payment, Millie will give you the Jeremiah Curd baseball card, who we can probably infer is a distant relative of Millie and the Curd family.
