How to Complete the Slugs in the Shell Side Job in Mouse: P.I. for Hire

Fool me once, twice, thrice, and all that. Our black and white buddy and barkeep, John Brown, is back again with another recipe for us to track down for him in Mouse: P.I. for Hire. Unsurprisingly, this one sounds pretty gross too. Worse yet, it's found at a place called Fart Harbor. What could possible go wrong?

As is the trend in the awesome Mouse: P.I., you need to act immediately if you want to make sure you can complete this side job. Otherwise, you'll more than likely skip it and miss out forever. Here's how to complete Slugs in the Shell before it's too late.

Starting the Side Job

Once you've opened up the main job in the game titled Glugging from the Deep, Slugs in the Shell will be available to you.

Before going out on Glugging from the Deep, make a stop at the good, ol' Little & Big Bar and speak with John Brown, the bartender.

This is now the third time he's asked you to bring back an unsavory-sounding ingredient for him, but he promises, it'll be worth it this time. We'll see, Johnny.

With the side job now in your quest log, it's time to take a deep breath before driving down to Fart Harbor.

Completing the Side Job

As you work through the main job, you'll find your other pal, Tammy Tumbler! Speak with her, and she'll lay out the next main job objective to gather together all of the parts to create a makeshift deep sea diving suit. After this conversation, jump into the warp pipe that's in the same area.

The pipe spits you back out into the same arena by the sea where you just cleared out a mass of enemies. Take a look next to the truck that's sitting by the giant, main gate. You'll notice a shipping container to the right of this truck, sitting on a piece of the pier that's jutting out into the water.

Head inside this shipping container, and there it is! John's can of sea slugs is ready for the taking. Yep, that's really all there is to it. Easy as slug pie (wait, is that what John's making??).

Now, just beat the main job, and then head back to the P.I. Office.

Side Job Reward

Once home, naturally, you need to go give John his slugs. Head back inside the Little & Big Bar and hand them over.

To everyone's surprise, John has Jack try his new dish out, and it's... actually good?

Even better, John also gives you one Spike-D prize token as your reward for the journey. If you haven't figured it out yet, these tokens will open the prize cabinet in the corner of the bar once you collect 20 from John's side jobs and winning Baseball games.

Once you get 20 tokens, you'll earn the X-1 Demousifier raygun, which is a pretty amazing firearm.
