How to Complete Waking The Grid in ARC Raiders

Something fishy is going on at the Spaceport, and you’re the one who is going to stop it! A fresh batch of quests continuing the story of the struggling survivors has been released in the new Flashpoint update in ARC Raiders.

This quest continues the story from where you left off after the Dust On The Wires Quest, which also took place on Spaceport. You’ve been ordered to return to the frey and check out the Security Control Centre for any breaches.

Let’s take a look at the Waking The Grid quest and how to get it done as quickly as possible!

Prerequisites

As previously mentioned, this quest requires you to have completed the Dust On The Wires quest, which precedes it. As soon as you turn that quest in, this one will become available.

The entirety of this mission takes place on Spaceport, and thankfully, it doesn’t require a lot of traversal, as long as you know where to go. Because of this, you can realistically complete this quest in a matter of minutes, without encountering much ARC interference. You may have to watch out for players, but that has always been the case.

Entering the game with a custom loadout gives you a higher probability of being placed into a fresh game. Free loadout players are more likely to be placed in the middle of an ongoing match.

Waking The Grid Quest Walkthrough

Guard Tower

The first thing you need to do is find a Guard Tower somewhere on the Spaceport map. There are many of these towers, and they're all located on the walls that surround the center of the map.

While you can travel to any of these, I would recommend the one located in the picture above. This particular tower is very easy to access by climbing up the collapsed south wall and is in proximity to the rest of the quest objectives.

Zipline your way to the top of the tower, and then search around the room. There will be a large console where you can interact and activate the Security Sensors.

Departure Building

Next, you’ll need to head on over to the Departure Building, which is directly north of the Tower that I showed above. If you head to the southern edge of the building, you’ll notice a large rectangular entrance in the middle of 2 ramps.

With a name like Dodger, you can't really be surpised can you?

Head on through, and you’ll be directly in front of the room where the next terminal is located. Once more, wander around the room until you find the computer, and interact with it to bring the security system online.

Arrival Building

Finally, once you’ve completed that objective, you’ll need to head on over to the Arrival Building, which is located directly north of the Departure Building.

The room you’re looking for is located on the northwestern edge, near the car park. You’ll know the right room as it has a breach bar, barricading the entrance. Breach the room, and inside you’ll find a huge array of computers all with flashing green screens. Interact with this to cut the wires and complete the final step of the mission.

Rewards

Once you return to Shani, you’ll be rewarded with the following:

1x Tactical MK. III (Revival)
3x Vita Shot
5x Surge Shield Recharger

These rewards are pretty powerful and will come in handy the next time you’re in a pickle. With the new Map Condition swarming the palace with ARC enemies, I’m sure they will come in handy. Just watch out for those Vaporisers!
