Many of these ruins are protected by challenging puzzles that require you to use your abilities, manipulate objects, or even travel to different parts of the map in search of clues.

In this guide, I'll show you where to find the five-finger mountain valley ruins, and how to solve the puzzle.

Five-Finger Mountain Valley Ruins Location

The five-finger mountain valley ruins are located west of Silver Wolf Mountain (seen above), and will appear on your map labeled only as ancient ruins.

How to Solve the Puzzle

At this location, you'll notice a large statue holding a double-sided axe, a sword, and a shield. This statue is surrounded by three large doors which are highlighted by the arrows in the picture above.

Behind each door there are images of weapons, and to solve the puzzle you'll need to match the images behind the doors to the ones the statue is holding.

The doors are being held shut by the stone weights on the other side of the gorge. To open the doors, lean up against the stone blocks and walk forward to briefly open the door, seen above.

When the door is open, jump on top of the block and shoot the image to make the cylinder spin until you find the correct match. The stone weight can only hold the door open for a couple of seconds, so you'll need to be quick.

You'll know you have the correct image when the golden light turns blue, as seen in the picture above.

Repeat the process for each of the doors until all three are glowing blue. The answer to the five-finger mountain valley ruins puzzle is:

Left door: Double-sided axe
Middle door: Sword
Right door: Shield

Claim Your Rewards

When you've matched all three images, the weapons the statue is holding will glow blue (seen above), and a mechanism will be activated that lowers the statue into the floor, revealing an abyss cresset hidden behind.

Not only will you unlock this location for fast travel, you'll also receive an abyss artifact which can be used to unlock new skills and buff your stats.
