If you want the best-of-the-best, you'll need a steady supply of high-value crafting materials such as exodus modules and voltage converters, which can be used to craft snap hooks, and epic guns such as the bobcat, vulcano, and tempest.

In this guide, I'll show you the best way to get your hands on a stockpile of these ingredients, by looting and recycling Ion Sputters, which can be found in Stella Montis.

Where to Find Ion Sputters in ARC Raiders

Ion Sputters (seen above) can be found in 'Exodus' areas, but what exactly does that mean? This is the part that may be confusing to some, as there are no areas on the map that are actually marked as exodus.

In ARC Raiders lore, the exodus refers to the time when the world was collapsing, and a handful of survivors managed to escape into outer space. The spaceport launch towers, and Stella Montis, are examples of exodus locations—where humans prepared to depart from earth.

I'll be focusing on Stella Montis, which is a reliable location to find Ion Sputters.

Destination: Stella Montis

First thing's first, select Stella Montis on the map. I recommend using a custom loadout with a safepocket, as the location I'm about to show you is often ripe with valuable resources and blueprints that you'll want to secure.

Go to the Assembly Workshops

Once you've arrived at Stella Montis, open your map and find the Assembly Workshops, which is highlighted by the arrow in the picture above.

To make your journey easier, place a marker on the map, and follow the compass at the top of your screen as you make your way there.

Search Yellow and White Drawers Near the Rocket Thrusters

Once you've arrived at the Assembly Workshops, look for small yellow and white cabinets near the rocket thrusters, seen above. If this area hasn't already been looted, you have a very good chance at finding Ion Sputters here.

Search the Blue Cabinets

Also be sure to loot any small blue cabinets (seen above) as they have been one of my go-to loot locations on Stella Montis. These have a high chance of containing Ion Sputters, and other epic crafting materials.
