When it comes to unlocking new outfits in Infinity Nikki, there's a surprising variety of ways to go about it. Then again, fashion is essentially the core of the game, so it's only natural that many aspects of it get tied into the content. Not only that, it's refreshing to have so many ways to build your wardrobe beyond simply pulling from banners.

With the arrival of the Where All Souls Return (2.5) seasonal update, there are a number of outfits you can earn just by completing tasks and quests in the open world (e.g. — the Whispered Dreams outfit). One such look that's quite easy to overlook is the Chromatic Comet outfit. If you want to add this ridiculously cute ensemble to Nikki's closet, here's how to unlock it.

How to Complete Curio Domains in Infinity Nikki

Curio Domains is a unique mini-game in Infinity Nikki that has been around since the game's release. They can be found in just about every region of Miraland, except the Sea of Stars. They're usually easy to spot in the open world, as they resemble a floating, bright pink cube from a distance.

When you approach them, they'll transform into a portal that you can enter to complete the mini-game puzzle that lies within. The puzzle for each Curio Domain is different, meaning the objectives and methods to complete them will vary. Sometimes it's a matter of moving boxes in a way that opens the path to the exit goal, or using one of your ability outfits to complete unique tasks using said ability.

Each time you complete a Curio Domain you'll earn a Whimstar for your efforts, and the cube will turn white, signifying its completion, so players don't get confused about which ones they've done. Sometimes completing a certain amount of Curio Domains will also lead to other rewards, such as the Chromatic Comet Outfit.

How to Unlock Chromatic Comet Outfit in Infinity Nikki

To unlock the Chromatic Comet outfit in Infinity Nikki, you first need to pick up a Random Quest from your old friend Stray Hatty. He's come to the Boneyard, and you'll find him in the southeast corner of the Dragonrest Flowerfield area. Speak to him, and he'll give you the Curio Domain: The Mysterious Entrance quest.

Its main objective requires you to complete five Curio Domains in the Boneyard region. The one next to Stray Hatty will count towards completion. Once done, you'll meet up with him on the south side of the Soul Observatory, underneath the giant skeleton against the cliff behind the main building. He'll ask you to complete seven more Boneyard Curio Domains for a total of 12 (you can track your progress via the quest menu).

Again, Stray Hatty will be right next to another Curio Domain that will count towards your total. There are more Curio Domains available in the region than what you need, so don't worry about having to track down and complete each one, if you find yourself stuck on one.

Once you've completed 12 of them, return to Stray Hatty at the Soul Observatory and as you turn on the quest, he'll give you all the sketch pieces for the Chromatic Comet outfit.

How to Craft Chromatic Comet Outfit in Infinity Nikki

To wear the Chromatic Comet outfit, you'll need to craft the ensemble first with the materials listed in the Sketch menu. Nearly all of these are found in the Boneyard region, save for more universal ones like Threads of Purity and Terra Gems.
